Thank you! And thank you for the input I will attach the camera to the back window now maybe for pov shots and when it’s not snowing will put it on top of the machine too! When it’s snowing I’ll keep it mounted to the window unless more people want pov shots too!
Thank you, I appreciate it! You definitely can, we are always hiring! If you go to our website, hanthooutdoorservices.com and go to the employment tab there will be info on how to get in contact with us and all the positions open!
Sounds like that is a great facility you and the company will make a lot of money with the wind lucky we have water here in Chi town no snow waiting for snow 1 event so far hard to have nice equipment on five or so events a season
Yup we are very fortunate, great client to work for! Lots of work to be done 24/7 with them! Yeah I totally get that I’m originally from Bloomington IL and we had the same issues there. One of the main reasons I moved up to MN was for the good snow seasons!
I would say an arctic is probably the best bang for your buck plow you can get. As far as scraping, durability, simplicity and price it's really hard to beat. That being said it is still just a pusher meant for hogging material so if you're looking for versatility and an all in one plow id say a metal press or something of that same caliber would be your better option for the work I assume you'd be doing in a skid atleast (detail/cleanup work, as well as being able to move some material around). But that just depends on your sites really and what you're looking for out of it, and if you're comfortable running a wing plow with hydraulics. The wing plows meant for a skid are almost the same price as an arctic nowadays for the same size too. I also want to clarify an arctic can still do all that to an extent but after running both a large scale arctic and a large scale wing plow I think a wing plow is really hard to beat because of how efficient it is and having to rely less on other pieces of equipment to do cleanup work. So all in all I think an arctic is probably your top 2 choices for styles of plows, definitely the top choice for pusher brands, but for me it would depend on again what you're looking for out of it(what your sites look like and how comfortable your are with hydraulics)
@ChrisTanton7 I've been looking at boss's pull plow as well, but I only have a half ton truck and the frame is all rusted out I got a western wideout on it it does good doesn't bog down but got to have a crap ton weight in the back just don't know if my frame would handle the weight of a pull plow
Yeah by the sounds of it I’d be a little hesitant with adding another plow on the back but if you feel like you can definitely look into it! I don’t have much experience with a pull plow but the videos I’ve seen I feel like you’re just a good with a plow on the front. They make some pretty large front plows now too that do a really good job. I know Stanley dirt monkey on TH-cam has a bunch of videos reviewing the newest tech. Arctic even has their own truck mounted plow out now that looks really good and if I plowed with a truck I probably would look at.
Great 3 points of contact getting into the loader 👏🏼
Haha oh yeah
Nice video. Thank you. Preferably attach the camera to the machine. The image now sways so that the viewer becomes dizzy.
