I never heard of this movie until I saw all the news stories about it bombing at the box office. That's why I'm here now watching the trailer for the first time. The marketing for this was beyond terrible.

I finally understood why this trailer felt so weird. All of the dialogue in this trailer are dubbed over the original footage. If you look at the mouths none of the lines match up. Not sure why they barely chose to keep a single shot where the audio actually matched the scene.

This looks like something that would've come out between Atlantis and Treasure Planet. would honestly love to see Disney take some more risks on projects like this more often, looks really creative.

I watched the movie and can guarantee that this doesn't reveal the plot.
People keep saying this reveals the important plot points meanwhile I don't see any major plot reveals. It's quite obvious that the dad is in most of the movie and isn't meant to be a surprise reveal.

Its midnight and i just finished watching it and although the trailer is not well executed (lets be real), I really liked it. I might give it another watch in the morning just to know if i'm just tripping but as of right now, its pretty good. There's bit of the plot that may need some more in depth explanation though but otherwise, really loved the visuals and concept in this movie. Likable characters, smooth animation ugh! It has potential. I just wish it has been advertised more by Disney.
I watched the movie and liked it, too. Except for the characters representing random minorities. A dog with three legs? Why? Besides that, the movie was fine.

I'm going to guess that Disney was nervous about heavily standing behind a movie with so much of an LGBT friendly position, where the boy liked a boy and there was an interracial couple with a darker black woman. Middle America trembles, grandma in the corner clutching her pearls, aggressively religious uncle exclaiming "this is why the country is going to crumble!". "leave our kids alone!" screams mom who forces her kids to go to Sunday school.

May I recommend the works of Cartoon Saloon. I think their movies are great and they still use traditional animation.

I really like how they have some voice lines visibly not syncing up with the character animations in the trailer. It's the next step in the evolution of ADR. Once they just inserted the voice clip when the character wasn't on-screen, now they don't even care anymore.

This looks more like a Dreamworks movie. I saw the poster of it at the theater, thinking it was for a movie coming out in 2023. After watching the trailer it looks like something that would come out in early 2010's.

I usually watch trailers after I watch the movie and I’m glad I did because this trailer did the movie so dirty. Saw this movie completely blind and it was so good, I loved every second. The first thought I had was wow, this movie has so much representation🥲. Don’t be discouraged by this trailer, it’s a great movie.
One of those movies I watched and was completely blown away, so I had to come see what everyone else was saying… and to my surprise very negative.

If they meant to market this properly they should hire a new marketing team. This one clearly doesn't know what it is doing. I literally had no idea this movie even existed. Not a peep of a hint to it during the entire time it was being produced.
