I've been fasting 14:10 for 12 months. I was never overweight & have always moderately exercised. I also started eating a very healthy diet from my previously moderately healthy diet. My BMI has gone from 24 to 21 Due to my exercise, I'm very lean at a BMI of 21 & people think I look underweight. I've tried eating more, but I can't get my BMI above 21. Still, it's a healthy weight, I worry if I got sick, I could lose too much weight in a short period of time.

I have been intermittent fasting for a couple of months and switched to OMAD, I actually enjoy fasting now and feel like it has helped me lose weight and most importantly lifts my mood everyday!

I have been on 16:8 fasting for 3 months now with some days doing more than 16 hours and other days doing exactly 16 hours. On my good days I do 20 hours or 22 hours the most I’ve done is 24 hours, however for the most part I do 18 hours. Some days I am very hungry and other days I don’t even think about food because I am soo busy that food is the last thing on my mind. I think it is important that we don’t obsess over food and we work day by day and celebrate our results. It was the hardest in the beginning because I was very eager to see results and felt like I was suffering throughout the entire 16 hours. Patience is key, I did not see results till about a month later. I also haven’t been losing drastic weight, its been more consistent, roughly 2 pounds a week. I think it depends on how much you have to lose and your age and gender. I am 38 years old, (just about, my birthday is in one month) and I plan to stay on this fasting till I reach my goal and get to my ideal weight of 125. It is the first time I stick to a diet and don’t give up, so I hope I don’t give up and continue losing weight. My biggest fear is plateauing which is what might have happened to me this month, since its been a month and I haven’t lost more weight. I am trying to be patient and tweak a few things here and there. I am bumping another day in my workouts and eating a little better, hopefully that helps. Any advice on how to avoid it or break the plateau? Please Help…

I am doing the 16:8 fasting and I find it very easy to do. I am 70 years old this year, but die to losing half my thyroid a couple of years ago, I went from 75kg to 97kg and could shift the weight. After 3 weeks on 16:8 I have dropped down to 93kg. I eat between 10am and 6pm. I adjust the morning time if we go out for dinner.
