I hope her clients realize her behavior is off and unprofessional, and seek another therapist. Due to her own doing, I also hope she does not have many clients to serve. I have a neighbor that fits this profile. Very negative and berating to everyone, very unhappy and wants to take it out on everyone else because they are not miserable like her. She looks for ways to tear people down and gets way too personal. For example, she had the gall to say "I don't know why you even got married if you are not going to have kids. That's the only reason to get married in the first place!" After that, I lost the very last little bit of respect I had for her and never wanted anything to do with her EVER AGAIN! How dare she criticize my decision to be married to the man I love! I've been married to him for almost 15 years. He was in my life long before her and will be long after I've forgotten about her.

It's so good to hear him say that, and also to say that the opposite is also wrong, to judge. The best is to gather data and learn about the person that way. Why didn't they teach us that in school? Reminds me also of Eckhart Tolle's comment about a question in regards to trusting people. He said: "Trust? Yes! Trust everybody!" Then he giggled and said: "Trust that they will act according to their level of consciousness". Ha ha. Cracked me up. See a snake for what it is.

You are not imagining..or crazy..you have a false self that is the one they created and this is where your emotions are also ..the bond. Then you also have your true self. Its you..from positive feedback you get ..from a smile of a stranger from nature..quiet time..or watching tv..anything or place where you experienced yourself ..and that is the real you ..and the one the world is connected to. Teach yourself to seperate from the false one..its merely an illusion from their 'disability' to build and nurture and love..its not you .and not your fault. I know how painful and tough this is. Now .keep building the other one. You might feel sad that you cannot share yourself with them truly..but if you keep going you will one day feel happy that you made it. That life will be better ..when you live it through your true sense of self and it will be less and less hard and less consequencial as your life gets fuller..please check pinch me living..channel. Might be helpful. I wish to do some helping becos I know what you are in. Theres alot to learn ..but with the strength of tools ..your inner voice ..from connected to yourself ..by sitting quietly. .you will get better at it. I wish you much love and strength and wisdom. Liah xx

I sure wish I had heard this advice fifty years ago. It would have saved my psychological life. The messages I got from my mother was a litany of, “YOU can’t do that”, “You cry too much”, “Why do you always paint the same thing?”,
and after reading my star chart, “Isn’t that SICK?” When I was born and my two grandmas came to congratulate her and welcome me, her comment was a sarcastic, “I SAW her! I realized she was jealous of me when my Dad bought me a BEAUTIFUL bedspread, and when I got boobs. She forced me to attend family gatherings which were tortuous to me, BECAUSE they were tortuous to me.
She interfered with my boyfriends and would not let me see them. The same interference in the form of a triangle with my second husband covered up their knowledge of my husband’s molesting my beautiful daughter for a decade.
When I was 52 years old, she and my Dad went in my house and stripped it of everything I owned. . . Furniture, clothing, jewelry, sentimental items, my business, with all my beautiful letters of recommendation, appliances, my substantial library, EVERYTHING! They ransacked my life, and got rid of Absolutely EVERYTHING!!!
Overcoming this life-long series of put-downs , and being dissed at every turn ultimately became impossible to overcome. Despite a self-made career in the arena of childbirth, the creation of The Center For The Sacred Feminine as well as the creation of Hypnotic Childbirth: Mother Nature’s Intention , a comprehensive set of five classes, and accomplishing the completion of a BS, MS, and finally a Ph.D. in my 50’s, they managed to take me down permanently.
No longer able to work, and left with a serious mental illness because
of all this, I finally broke. Now I stare at walls, read books, and sometimes watch brain-numbing TV programs. My brain is mush, I cannot socialize, and I’m tired of living. TMI? At least it’s therapeutic to put it out there. If you read all this, thank you for listening. 🙏🌹❤️

Self preservation is important for our well being. Being around toxic people you can’t get away from is an emotional nightmare. When you do get away it’s not easy, especially if you live in the same small town. There are reminders at every corner. It takes a long time and you never stop missing who they used to be. Theyre unable to see how their self destructive behavior is hurting them and people they love. It’s best to take care of yourself, mind and body so you don’t fall into the same toxic behavior. Peace to anyone struggling with this.

As a Christian, you are taught to show kindness to everyone, forgive people for their wrong doings, and show empathy and compassion toward others, as it helps you relate to them and understand their struggles and sufferings. Even if you are not a religious person but know the importance of being a kind person, these "baiters" will suck the life out of you simply because they are aware of how kind you truly are. Our lines of thinking are based solely on how can we make people feel comfortable and happy at all times. These "baiters" lines of thinking however, is entirely demonic and they are lying when they show any compassionate feelings whatsoever. They are mean people who PRETEND to be nice, whereas truly kind people know that they have kindness in their hearts, and are aware at times that they simply can become frustrated or angry but that is not truly who they are. As a Christian, we have a hard time understanding that these baiters don't have soul or conscious, and we feel bad for them. So we keep trying harder and harder to understand them. BUT there is nothing to understand. They don't act like real people with real feelings. Their goal is to keep you around long enough to see you suffer. They do not have feelings, so they feed off of you, and try to ruin your feelings and try to ruin your heart. It's really sick and sad. But we can not feel bad for these people like we are taught to as christians. We must really try to be aware of these people because they are never going to change unless they are willing to on their own terms. They can only change themselves. They are the only ones who can welcome God into their lives and ask Him to help change them. Nothing you can ever say or do to a baiter will help them be a better person. Only God can change a person.

What’s he’s describing is how narcissists treat people. Learning what narcissistic abuse is has helped me immensely because in the past I didn’t know there was a term for the abuse I endured by people. Therapy doesn’t help narcissists! They don’t have empathy, can’t see things from another’s point of view. Going to couple’s counseling with this type of toxic person will result in you being triangulated with the therapist unless they are aware of how narcissists behave. All these types learn is how to manipulate people better. The only way to win with a toxic narcissistic person is not to play and go no contact!

FANTASTIC advice and just what I needed to hear right about now. Just broke off a friendship that had been going on for a year or so with a couple of breaks. I know that this is not a good working friendship for reasons not necessary to specify here. Not the person's fault, it was a disparity of emotions thing. I have been waiting to be contacted again with an attempt to fix this which has happened before. I let it get repaired last time which was a mistake. I am telling myself that this time we need to be out of each other's lives for good. This clip reinforced that I am right, she is toxic for me and it can't be allowed to go forward.

Therapy helps to strengthen you. You have to choose the right one for you. A lot of people aren't trained in narcissistic abuse. The person that has this sometimes either chooses to be evil or they're unable to have insight. They are in love with their false personality. It begins between 3 and 7 years old. The person never grows up.
