What a fun hobby! Certainly looks like a lot of money well invested. I can only imagine the pleasure that comes with re-creating one of man's greatest inventions; the locomotive. As a child, I grew up in a railroad town (Mojave, California). The Southern Pacific and Santa Fe both blew through town night and day. Trona Railway also cut through town at least once a day. It wasn't until I moved away until I realized how much I enjoyed the railroad
That must of been an amazing time watching the glory days of Mojave, I can only imagine! As with anything, we never quite know what we have until it’s gone. Cheers!
I’m not into hobby trains but I can see the attraction. The attention to detail, the realistic backdrops, landscapes, hardscapes amazing indeed. Even the speed in which the train moves is reality in miniature. Plus the skill it takes to build and tie it all together. I do find myself looking in TH-cam t enjoy this hobby. So thank you. I enjoy it immensely.👏👏
I’ll never figure out how people can build beautiful layouts and even weather the freight cars......then leave shiny metal wheels on the trucks. Break out the bottle of “rail tie brown” and hit those shiny annoyances with a dose of it!
Are the signals working or not, as the train of trailers on the spine cars sat waiting for the coal train to pass, when it looked like he had a green, he them moved off without the signal changing
It’s up to you. If you’re operating alone you can get by with DC and have plenty of fun! I have a lot of older DC locomotives and love to run them and just watch them go sometimes. Why not both? 😊
You guys at athearns get the bearing caps issue solved yet? For the SD60M (would like to know what to do) You have been nice enough to help me before about them thanks dude
Here is a post from Athearn regarding the bearing cap issue. Hope all works out for you! m.facebook.com/AthearnModelTrains/photos/a.332747330040/10158779747310041/?type=3&p=29
I really don't understand the signal at 5,00. It's unclear in which direction it pinpoints and it doesn't change although the coal train leaves one track towards another track whereas from the other side the inter modal train arrives and actually has to stop. Yet the signal doesn't change at all. Could you explain this to me perhaps?
Signals are not working 100% at this moment. Don’t mind the lights, dispatching is currently operated by track warrant for the time being until signals are functioning correctly.
Building train layouts are worth investing money into n I like always to tackle the vintage days of railroading it brings back the vintage fun days
😅

I love how the yellow santa fe did a little street running.
If only I had this as a kid !
I love this. I enjoy watching long trains.
Glad you enjoyed! Stay tuned, new content coming soon!
Excellent low photography, nice scale speed, good long trains.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed :)

I am glad you enjoyed it! The hobby does provide endless fun. Maybe we can get you to take up model railroading, we would love to have you!
Fantastic layout. Really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful. So nice with DCC sound locomotive👍
Sweet layout, I like the length of the train’s very nice, but I would like to see your whole setup.👏👏👏
Love the layout and the operations!❤️
wow oh wow!
Those Union Pacific locos have got to be Walthers.... for the Money Walthers produces some of the best smoothest running locomotives you can purchase.
But Walthers trains have so small details. Cost a bit less than Scaletrains and look like a cheap toy in comparison
Nice trains I see you have a model of the rare 3 window front cab!
loved my modle rail ways good fun.nice lay out.
1:42 damn Sd70ace back old livery
beautiful.
I would enjoy seeing a diagram of this layout, which is quite impressive.
Glad you enjoyed. Here are some interactive diagrams of the layout:

@ 10:10... i was a little worried there for a minute
Nice rolling stock.
This is probably the safest place for those Swift Trailers…just sayin
They'll cause the derailment!

Beautiful.
Just learning about HO scale, are these metal or plastic?
Welcome to the hobby! These are plastic models with metal frames.
@@HybridHobby interesting, mayy have a new hobby☺
Thank you!
If I want to buy that type of big train model ,, from where I get this big train model and how much money please tell me someone 🤝🤝🤝😇😇😇
Hey I have a dc layout that is about the size of a standard dinner table. I have 6 non DCC ready locomotives, do you think I should switch to dcc
It’s up to you. If you’re operating alone you can get by with DC and have plenty of fun! I have a lot of older DC locomotives and love to run them and just watch them go sometimes. Why not both? 😊
@@HybridHobby Ok… What I might do is make it DCC BUT keep my dc stuff so then I can run dc if no ones there and run a DCc if someone is there
Are different ho scale trains compatible with different track for example hornby loco with Bachmann ez track
Absolutely!
@@HybridHobby thanks
