i do agree the beat drop for a rap is sometimes unnecessary (like half of kpop title tracks out there). But this is the first time i tolerated Sehun's rap, it was spot on but Chanyeol did the directing and lyrics on the part so, i'll give him credit for it. also i dont thnk Chanyeol's parts were bad. its just that it kinda made the song flat, even the dance solo part. thank you for sharing this. :D

I literally looked up "koko bop without the drop" and I found this video! I'm so happy, it sounds so much better to me like this. The drops were just too jarring and disrupted the groove the rest of the song created. Now I can listen to this song and not have to manually skip the drops LMAO thanks!

Anyway, thanks for creating this version and I'm not at all mad that you cut out Chanyeol's rap.
This is what my body needed. Except for Chanyeol. But, I'm happy.
I actually think the drop and the last chorus fit together really well, and it's kind of lacking without it imo. I really like this version, too, though!
The song feels a little rushed without any music breaks but honestly this still sounds way better than the original imo... thanks for this!
Also no need to apologize, I'm sure the Chanyeol fans understand what you were trying to do here.

Like although I loooove the original, I do think that the EDM parts were a bit forced and unnecessary.
*But* now that I hear the song without them its kinda lacking overall (also my brain goes "ERROR: PARK CHANYEOL NOT FOUND").
There are amazing reggae sans EDM songs in K-POP but in the case of this particular song, I really wonder what could have been done to make it sound more interesting.
So imho if Ko Ko Bop without the drop sounded like this it would have been quite a weak title track.
But you did a REALLY GOOD JOB ON THIS, I mean the transitions are SMOOTH AF 👌👏
