I've been interested in the placebo effect since learning about it in middle school. I always wondered why nobody seemed to care how cool it is, and what the implications of it were. It was always portrayed as some negative event that just randomly happens. I never researched it much in a western scientific way, but I have explored that idea through other spiritual practices, things like meditation. I randomly got really mad that nobody I talked to cared about it, so I finally searched on TH-cam. This has been really cool to watch and learn about. All that to say, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was like "wait what". Thank you for doing all of this exploration and sharing! You're awesome!
She has gotten Very comfortable as a public speaker and i admire her for that, Ive been struggling with Public Speaking and the way it makes me feel. Im extremely proud of you even though youll never see this but the TedTalk youre hands were shaking and you were noticeably and understandably nervous. Great work and your mindset has helped you there too.
@@dillonblack4524 Yup, I keep coming back to refresh & deepen my understanding about mindsets, , as humans to properly function in the world there must be a presence of implicit theory (mindset) about the objective reality in our head, that's why I think her future work about meta-mindset will be impactful even more, the ability to change your mindset at will is not so different from the ability to change your reality at will. Subjectivity plays a powerful part in building up realities.
i've encountered the idea of "mindsets" referred to as "reality filters" re: Integrative- no one is disputing the fact that fire is hot, it's just "how hot is hot?" or "what actually is this thing called hot again?" perhaps the background temperature/frequency of the universe is "maybe"

implicit theories (mindsets) is the force that run the world, he who own the implicit theory own people, have the power.
