You are a literal angel! A million thanks to you for not gate keeping and giving away information to hundreds of people looking to start their on business. Not many people have the confidence and selflessness to openly share like you do.
I had a dream of walking into a little shop and approcahed a box of XL nails with a design I am dedicated to create youre the first person i came across to get started, girl youre a blessing 😇
U deserve the world!!! When I stated my business no one gave as much tips and tricks and where they got stuff from as much as you do and I absolutely appreciate you!!!!!
You could do a different length by using the magnet trick or there are tip cutters with the length wheel built in. I use both for myself. The magnets are great for using on any tip cutter. They are tiny magnets and you just stack them up and they stick to the metal head.
Yasssss!!!! To this video Val. I always come here to learn more and more so this was such a little gift from you to me. Really jumped started my year with all this info. That’s what I love about you. You’re always super thoughtful with your videos. Always wanting to chat with us and share tips and tricks. Honestly always feel like I’m having a snack while my friend is helping me figure out stuff by showing me how she does it. You’re never to talkative at all. The second the video ended I had to refresh to see if the other one was posted😂😂. So clearly I’m here for the convo and here to listen. Thanks for sharing❤❤
Thank you for sharing so much of your knowledge and favorite items! Last year you shared where you got your rhinestones from on AliExpress, the ones that come folded in paper and I absolutely was in love with all of the rhinestones I received! Haven't finished watching yet, but I know you will share some great stuff!
love your videos they’re always so helpful 🥺 2 things! I have the kiara sky nail lamp if you press on the timer button twice it’ll remove the sensor so you don’t have to keep worrying about it shutting off when you move. and you should try out the Tammy Taylor peel n stick nail file. it’s super good got it on Amazon, it’s replaceable so as soon as it starts to get low grit you can change it out!
VALLLLL I missed you!!! Im so happy you posted beautiful!!! I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Can you PLEASE do a tutorial on a milky white to nude ombre like in the picture you showed when you were talking about the Ombre brush please!!. 🥰🥰🥰. I'm pretty sure that if you press the button twice on the KS lamp that it stays on. I have it but I don't use it, but I think I remember it staying on if you do that. I paid all that money for it to end up using a lamp from Amazon 🤦🏿♀️ and I LOVE apres nails. They are expensive af but they are so worth it.
I switched to the pink stands because of you and it is better: they may not be as pretty s as the magnet ones, but they make sooo much more sense. Also got the gorilla putty. Great topic for video!
Val!!! Thank you love! I appreciate you sharing what works for you. I pretty much have everything I need. I have a few more things to purchase. I love that you are being transparent and doing what works for you. I pray your new year is being you nothing but prosperity and peace.
I absolutely love these kinds of videos! ❤ With the top coats, I recently came across this new brand on amazon. It comes in a 4pk, with base coat, top coat, matte top coat and nail strengthener for less than $10, but it may have gone up (it was around $8.99 when I ordered it). It is the brand Perfect Summer, and I am ABSOLUTELY loving it. The glossy top coat is a thicker consistency and it is SO shiny. The matte top coat is really nice. And the nail strengthener is awesome. I think it has become my new favorite top coat. I'd like to see what you think!
Hey! First of all, thanks, you are truly my inspiration and I will follow your tips and nail tutorials. I've been watching your videos for 2 days!! I love your videos 😭😭 And...sorry but, where can I find the best tips but at a low price? Which one do you recommend?
I’m just starting out and your videos were the first I started watching ❤❤❤ I’m so grateful for this one had some similar items in my cart but just replaced them with the ones you’re recommending love your work
As weird as it sounds , I keep my clear tape (wish I used foam , ut i still have 2 rolls left ) wrapped in heavy duty foil, it doesnt stick as bad, when trying to unwrap it. Plus it keeps the lint and dust off
Thank you so much! I have been binging your videos for days now! I understand the enailcouture nail tips are soft gel tips, are these compatible with regular nail glue for press ons? Or only the gummy gel method application?
I purchased the nail stands as they look soo much easier than the magnetic ones. Only thing is the whole stand plus the nails don’t fit under my lamp. I feel like I want a new lamp anyway. Are there any affordable ones you recommend that will allow space for these stands with the nails on? ❤
Your videos have helped so much with my press on’s! I’ve started doing them for myself and not so much to sell. I wanted to know if you could do a video on application. How to make the press on look like acrylics. I feel like i still not work in that area
This was a great video and I dont know why you think there to long and divide in two, as soon as first one is over, we go looking for the second one... I have a bunch a questions so I hope you don't mind. - the Zulays glue you said dries super fast, then you spray with the activator, why? Does it need that activator to set completely? - The E Nail Couture products your using, in previous videos you mentioned not using anymore due to problems with the company, are you using again? Is the company safe to use again? - You mentioned buying 9 boxes of tips, do you use all the sizes in each box? Do you ever buy refill packs of certain sizes? - You said in previous videos you sometimes make larger 20-24 tip sets. What's not clear is, when a customer asks for one of those do you use their personal sizes and increase the amount of ea., or just use 2 of each size out of the tip box. - You never mentioned a Matte top coat, which do you use? Could you do a video on pricing? Like how you incorporate the cost of supplies, shipping, products & your time - then how do you mark it up. You dont need to supply your actual tip price of you dont want to, use a fake number if you want. Just want an idea of how its put together. I did some looking into packaging supplies and the prep kit you provide, and those 2 alone add so much to the cost, I dont know how you include the actual tips... lmao I haven't seen a video of you using foils & decals, could you? This was the perfect video for the start of the year, I especially like how after you showed a polish color, you showed a set made with it, I actually wish you did it for all - really helps to know the color. Thank you again for a great video, cannot wait for the next one.
It for me, if somebody wants to know, the size or a custom size, have them take a tape measure of some type in inches, and hold it up at the nail bed so you get an idea of how long they want it hold it at the nail bed and then for them to go out how long they want it so you could see if it’s 3 1/4 inches Long. And then you can always send them a note back, showing the type of nail that they’re asking for, and with a tape measure zoomed into about the same size of the photo that they sent you and then they can see the nail how long it is, 3 1/4 inches long. Or if they have any nails links that they like have them take a tape measure start at say number one or zero and lay it out and take a top snapshot of it so this is what I want a 3 inch nail! Or another thing is if they’ve already purchased nails, or if they have any unfinished nails or something that they purchased from kiss person or whatever, you can have them, lay it on a tape measure and take a top snapshot straight from the top and this is the perfect length that they like and then you could see that say OK this is about 2 inches. This is what they want. Send it back get them to agree to it and there you go.! A saying, you can’t please, all of the people all of the time!!!😊 I love the wax pencils! I have a whole pack before I discovered the wax pencils and actually purchased them. I would use the long skinny clear, waxed dental sticks, the type that you would put on your braces so they wouldn’t be sharp against the inside of your mouth. !😂 Wow, very very informative video❤❤❤❤ I don’t upload nail videos are any videos? Actually, I don’t have cameras in all of that type of stuff to do all of that. I may try to upload some photos if maybe post something on an Instagram account. Another tip for taking care of brushes, is to lay your brush on its side to dry!! Because if the fluid runs back down, it can get stuck in the barrel, part of the birth olds, and later, on whatever color you might have been, there can come out and bleed into the color you’re using! I purchased an ink pen stand that you lay on your side, ink, pens into light display, ink, pens, and that makes great for laying brushes on their side to dry ! Also, natural hair bristles can mold if they’re wet and you close them in the cap and they can actually mold so you want to make sure they’re perfectly dry or in some type of container that has air circulation when storing.
Lol. I make miniatures for doll houses and I am now looking at making press ons (because I developed a gel allergy doing my own sigh) for some variation. I feel you darl - if you could see my brushes and my desk - you would literally wonder if maybe I could be related to you. I wonder if like me, you also ruin your clothing when doing your art =) BTW, thanks for the invaluable tutes you give regarding making press ons - after I watch the next part of this - I will be binge watching your what she wanted/versus what she got series - I am VERY keen to see how you make press ons look like acrylics etc. Cheers from DownUnder.
You should be able to tell by the clarity and how they feel. Plastic, and resin, rhinestones feel really cheap and feather light while glass rhinestones are usually a bit heavier. You can also tell by the sparkle sometimes. Plastic rhinestones are generally more dull and/or cloudy while glass are generally more sparkly and have better clarity. I'm probably the only one that does this, but when I want to be 100% sure, I clean one of the larger rhinestones, then I'll tap it against my teeth. That's my surefire way to make sure that they are glass. I'm sure there are much better ways to tell, but that's what I've always done. 😂
Gosh I ordered nail files from Amazon probably 2 years ago they are huge black and last like forever let me see if I can find them again maybe too large for you?
Hey Val! I have a question how do you clean the striper brushes? I always have trouble and they end up getting someone “stiff” and no longer good for nail art 😭
Maybe with Basegel? I do it like that and and before I start, I'll give them a wipe with alcohol but I don't think that's good because it drys the hairs out. 🤔🤭😘
I always do the hot water trick with those too 💕 i put a mug of water in microwave for about 5 minutes then take it out be careful! And then i dip my brush in and i hold it in there for about 1 minute it turns it like new ! and before doing this if the brush has dry product i always get a little dish with acetone and clean the brush with that. Ik not the best ! But it works for me 💕
I love your content. Just don’t talk w your hands. Stop shaking the products. Stop moving your hands so much. Don’t be afraid to talk a lil slower. I’m not talking bad at all. I love your videos. Just my opinion. Thank you for your content

You’re absolutely welcome lovely 💞💞💞
U deserve the world!!! When I stated my business no one gave as much tips and tricks and where they got stuff from as much as you do and I absolutely appreciate you!!!!!
For the kiara sky lamp, if you press the button twice it will stay on without anything being in there. Hope that helps!
I love that this sits here to come back to whenever I'm looking for something specific I love your chatty videos too!!
