Hand-Drawn Artful Platformer Adventure. A mouse-style metroidvania with humble feels, epic stakes, characters with personality, elegant environments, scintillating sound design and OST, time-trials.
A game both challenging and relaxing in the same scene, playful and profound in plot and composition - this makes 'islets' the best indie game I've played in years. I'm delighted and excited to finish part 2, increase the quality of edits, and produce a shorter voiced review.
