Sad to hear the Fendertones are no longer performing but as a life-long BB fan , I would to thank each and everyone of them for the hours of pleasure they have given watching the relatively few but outstandingly great videos on TH-cam countless times, recreating faithfully some of the greatest popular music of all time alive .Certainly the finest tribute band of the BB I have ever seen.

Watched this song multiple times, these people truly love the music and have great harmony in life and music! Margarite is super as the lead. Great to see this 60's music recreated so faithfully. We need to see a Fendertones reunion!
Such an obscure song that I have known for many, many years and always loved it. Most people don't know that the Beach Boys worked with Annette. This tune knocked me out when I first heard it by Annette, the Fendertones version is spot on. I've played it now about 15 times. Great work, I should say excellent work! Jerry, from Jimmy Gilmer & the Fireballs.
Buddy, you just made a friend. I imprinted on The Beach Boys in 1962, when I was seven. I found The Fendertones on TH-cam with this very song. Thank you so much for the rehearsal video.
The Fendertones are the best. Hopefully they will reunite for a special tour very soon. I am trying to get a hold of them for an interview. Thank you for watching. I can always appreciate new friends. God bless
@@jemntertainment I always feel a mild pang of envy when I watch them, the same as I've always felt with The Beach Boys. I wish I was one of them. Be well. You made my day.
Thank you so much for bringing this to us... I do love all of their work, but to see the group so relaxed here is a pleasure... at 80yoa, I have lived through these songs from the earliest... good wishes to you and all...
These guys are amazing. I LOVE the original but like this version even better. Not sure why these guys didn't stay together. I imagine that some of them easily could have been replacement Beach Boys backing Mike and Bruce, or Brian and Al in their concerts.
Totally agreed, and she's prettier than Annette too. I will probably get a lot of flack for that. What can I say I like blondes. Lol But seriously I prefer the fendertones version over the original anyday. It was much fuller and peppier. Thank you for stopping by. Be well
I've watched them do this song many times. The only issue I have is that the horns drown out her voice every so often. Maybe they should have been somewhat muted. The composers are the famous Sherman brothers who wrote all the songs in Mary Poppins among many many others.
I absolutely LOVE this video! It makes me both laugh and tear up a bit due to the loss of beloved Annette. 😢 Allegedly, the Beach Boys despised this bouncy tune. And oh, Mike Love, the stud, cannot dance! Just watch him try to do the "swim" with Miss Funicello. Um...WOW! 🫣
Infamous...🤔 Well the Monkey might have been nervous because there was a Fender Jaguar on set, but FANTASTIC might be a better term to describe this performance....👍

sorry, I missed that news. Who said?
Mainly because It's been almost 10 years since their last video You never know something may bring them back together for a reunion.
I live in hope!@@jemntertainment
Such a loss that they quit performing! Thanks for putting this together.
I've been wondering why I haven't seen anything from them in a few years. Do you know why?
I think they put something on their fb page a month ago.

I regret that I found the Fendertones so late in life. Thank goodness for YT. ;-)
I'm with you on that. Hopefully the will reunite. Thank you for your comment, and watching.
They were fun to watch
Agreed, Yes they were. I would love to see a reunion.

It's ashame they don't perform together anymore they look like they had good time together
I love The Fendertones.

What a great tribute to The Beach Boys/Annette as well as the Sherman Brothers! So awesome. Thanks for posting.

Thanks, they really are great!
wow thankyou..the music video is now part of my soul its my go to song. but now to go behind the scenes is awesome ..
Glad you enjoyed the behind the scenes version. Really makes you appreciate the process of the finished product.
O que é ensaiar... ensaiar e ensaiar! acho que foi o melhor cover que já vi e ouvi! parabéns.
great rendition of this song
"Infamous" is exactly NOT the word you're looking for.
You’re so right! : infamous / ˈɪnfəməs/
adjective
well known for some bad quality or evil deed.”an infamous war criminal"
Love love love this so much!
Fantastic as usual!
Perfection!
They did a wonderful job performing the song! Thank you! Sr. Tim Rasico M.D.
Love to hear the newer generations restore the good ol' tunes that were musical!
Incredible talents it truly is a shame they cannot keep it together!
I never thought lighting could strike twice. Thanks for the music.
This was better than the original, and she did Annette better than Annette !!

@@jemntertainment They upgraded the original!
Really great ❤
I would love to sing with the Fendertones . Come on guys, reform. Cannot believe how you sound like the Beachboys, regards

Brian Wilson would have loved this! I kno wI do!

D Day was “ infamous “ not this song about a monkey from a Disney movie .
One of the two Sherman composers died the other day.
I CANNOT HEAR HER
Well , typing in all capital letters isn’t going to change your hearing issues .
