I love the '50s "cartoon modern" style of this opening sequence. They really nailed what movie opening credits looked like during the silver age. It's brilliant.
OMG. I Just read that Darwyn Cooke, the artist of Justice League new frontier passed away!! So sad I love his artwork and character design simply captured my imagination. the world suddenly became a less beautiful place. R.I.P Mr. Cooke you thank your for the art and story's in comic
I rewatched this film in November of 2019 in my freshmen year of high school when I really was getting into comic books when I joined an after school comic book club, which my friends there got me more interested in comics, and I learned more about the golden age of superheroes in the special features of this film. Earlier that year I read the whole death note manga cause I loved the show but fall of 2019 is what I call the “super hero boom”, which made me more into superhero’s than I used to be before I liked comics.
In case any of you haven't heard the audio commentary by Darwyn Cooke (who wrote the comic), he thinks the opening credits are great, because they capture the spirit of the book.
Reminiscent of The Incredibles end credits graphics. That movie was also inspired by the 50s era. It also banned superheroes and forced them into retirement
For the opening music' I imagine adding the opening theme music from Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home and when it ends I also imagine the ending theme of it, I figured those music would fit in well for the golden age look of justice league' the feeling of it makes it exciting!
It will the happiest day in my life if DC ever makes a tv series/cartoon/movie or SOMETHING based off the Golden Age superheroes. They need more love. DC's already written them off in their comics.
Fun fact later in the movie superman calls back to hourmans death which is actually shown in this intro when he and three other police officers fell from one of the faulty fire escapes to their deaths

When I first heard of this movie, I thought I was watching an episode of the Superfriends. But after seeing this movie, it really blew me away!
