With such incentives for REs, the feed in tariff imposed on the electric consumers should be removed already and instead the government should be the one to subsidize these projects because as we know solar in particular is still expensive without the feedin tariff and other incentives so why let the consumers be burdened in favor of the solar plant owners since it's should be part of their business risk.

It should be all forms of energy sources. Both RE and nuclear energy should be on the table. Walang iwanan, fair playing field walang subsidy.

Agree. We need a diverse mix of energy sources for a reliable and sustainable future.

This is a very productive and informative conversation among the stakeholders and players of RE. After watching, I am confident that we will have an effective transition from fossil fuel to RE and achieve 35% RE of energy mix by 2030.

One of the major concerns of Investors is in case of PSA engagement, They can be assured of the completion of the Supply contract in order for them to recover their invested capital and corresponding recovery. In the case of PECO/MORE, the PSA of their suppliers were not honored and was shorted or cut-off by the new DU owner. This may be considered as a lobby for legislation that the LGU and DOE shall provide legislation on the assurance of PSA completion.
