I had to, MANY times have my boy hold the heel of his hand against the belt as I, on my granddads CC Case started up the tractor to use on the buzz saw. he was around 9

I'm sorry, I truly do respect my elders, but why would anyone try to put a belt on a running pulley with their hand?!
