    SpaceClass is a spacious, refined lounge on wheels, roomy modular and comfortable
    Modular layout and generous space
    With over 50 possible configurations (2 to 9 seats), SpaceClass offers a greater range of personalized features than any other vehicle in its class thanks to benches or sliding seats on rails, removable or swivelling, for maximum modularity. It is available with up to six seats facing each other, in the rear passenger space equipped with two benches, with an exceptional up to 26 cm knee-radius.
    Trafic SpaceClass is available with the Twin-Turbo Energy 1.6 dCi 125 and Energy 1.6 dCi 145 engines, both Euro 6 compliant and mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
    The "Signature" version (2 to 7 seats) turns SpaceClass into a real lounge on wheels with a removable sliding central table, an array of storage compartments and swivelling seats for a face-to-face layout.
    The "Escapade" version (2 to 8 seats) on SpaceClass is aimed more at new nomads looking for adventure. It includes a couchette configuration up to 1.95m long for two people
    Available in two lengths (L1, L2), SpaceClass features a unique passenger area of generous dimensions with a wide door opening and "easy-entry" function for excellent accessibility. Designed to carry up to nine people, it also includes plenty of boot space: between 550 dm3 and 1,000 dm3 in L1 and between 890 dm3 and 1,800 dm3 in L2. When all the seats are removed, SpaceClass has a maximum boot space of 6m3 in L2.
    Comfort and technology
    The neat, functional cockpit of Trafic SpaceClass was designed to maximize comfort on the road for all types of journey, as a family or for business use, with its high driving position, ergonomic heated leather seats at the front. It also features the intuitive R- LINK Evolution or Media Nav Evolution multimedia system accessible via a built-in 7-inch screen, record storage space, climate control, etc.
    Trafic SpaceClass features easy-to-use technology: - 2 multimedia navigation systems, - a reversing camera on MediaNav Evolution, - smartphone replication (Android Auto on the new R- Link Evolution), - Bluetooth and MP3 connectivity - automatic air conditioning in the cockpit
    As for the passenger experience, SpaceClass has ergonomic seats or benches with multiple adjustments (backs, armrests…) for maximum onboard comfort. It also includes individual features such as six LED reading lights, along with 220V and 12V sockets and two USB ports to charge any electronic appliance, laptop, tablet, phone, etc. The passenger space feels like a private suite, where passengers can work behind tinted windows in complete comfort thanks to air conditioning boosters and heating adjustable from the passenger space (and activated from the cockpit).

Dark privacy rear glazing and a black satin-finish pack (exterior rearview mirrors, door handles, lower side protection, tailgate handle, registration plate light strip) complete the distinctive and attractive design of SpaceClass. Finally, SpaceClass features a new exterior body colour, Comet Grey. This all-round metallic paint, is both simple and elegant.

    Stop & Start
    Thanks to the Stop & Start technology, the TRAFIC SpaceClass engine automatically shuts down and starts. This translates into lower fuel consumption and lower CO emis emissions.
    ECO mode and DRIVING ECO2 system
    Reduce fuel consumption thanks to the ECO mode. As a complement, with the R-LINK Evolution, the DRIVING ECO2 system analyzes your driving style and develops tips to save even more fuel. Dynamic display (red, orange or green) informs you whether your ride is economical.

      Nice car but it breaks down easy. Problems with ehr valve. Injectors. Brakes. Wind noice and not so comfy ride and gear box problems even with manual transmissions. Transmission keeps noizy after a while and lots of plastics.

    На столик можно съемную удлинённую столешницу из пластика сделать. С отверстиями для подстаканников по середине. Она может храниться С зади на полке. Тогда и крайним пассажирам можно будет макбуки поставить. ( для тех кто в танке- края могут крепиться на боковые двери и ни чего в таком случае не перевернётся)

      Not sure what this statement is based on, but you should do some research on least reliable car brands. You will not find Renault anywhere.

      But pretty much all the lists include cars that cost a fortune such as Audi, Volvo, BMW etc. ;)
      Besides, I own 3 Renault cars and I've never had problems with any of them.

      *BCO* Hmm, yes well most cars today sport plasticized interiors. Even my MB C200 has it's share of plastic moldings. Cheapo plastic interiors were representative of early Japanese cars exported to world markets over many years, whereupon if left out in the elements, the dashboard tops would crack and split, or another example, a 1967 Toyota Crown's seats were lucky to see out 12 months, when bums on seats would render them all shiny and their 0.8mm thickness would crack along the stitching, with the vinyl going hard and brittle. Thankfully, the polymers they use today seem to combat UV quite well, though whenever possible, it's always a good idea to use a windscreen sunshade, if leaving the vehicle parked in the Sun for a few hours. The Trafic does have some rather interesting points, like the pass thru to the front passenger floor for extra long objects and an under the passenger seat storage bin. Anyhow, there's an honest review by Bob Flavin on it's practicality over on the side bars. It might just take some clicking on a few Renault Trafic videos to find it. Basically, for anyone with a large family, it leaves most other MPV's behind. Will seat 9 and still have room for 9 people's luggage. Of course, one does not have to go for the undoubtedly higher priced variant as shown above. Like you, I too prefer LED lighting over incandescent globes. That said though, the Renault Trafic is not my choice, but if I had to choose Renault, it would be the Espace Initiale, . Check out the 35 minute review by Thomas of Autogefuhl on the Espace, it's well worth the look...

      DH - I almost bought a new Espace and am so thankful that I did not. Already it has a horrendous reputation here in Germany for miserable electronics and check out the scary side crash test

      Renault simply do not spend the effort where it matters most, under the skin ! Cars that shine on showroom floors simply do not cut it anymore. I have spent thousands of Euros keeping those gastly cars running, when I sold my last one I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief.
