I gave my Son the LP in 1963, he was 2 yrs.old, he still remembers it. We lived in Istambul,Turkey (US Air Force) in those days there was no Internet, no I Phone, or even American TV.
This is such fun ... they made a completely new recording of the story and songs with the cast members, And with new lyrics included. What a nice find.
i did too.another thing,in the book"the disney films",leonard maltin said the picture did'nt give us any characters who could be put on the printed page,but he was wrong,mad madam mim the evil witch,appeared many times in the walt disney comics and stories comic,she even appeared with donald duck!
I know this sounds a little bizarre, but I'd have a recommendation if there was a modernised version of the Sword in the Stone in the 1980s, these were the roles that would be considered for that particular genre.
