One thing I wish Bote would do instead of having fixed attachment points is use recessed rail mounts. If they could work up a partnership with YakAttack or another brand it would be such a better board (I've told them this). Live Watersports is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. That red at the end was pretty slick, like a cat chasing a mouse. Keep doing work JM!
Bote is proud. My wife just got an inflatable paddleboard that is really nice but at a $1k I couldn't help but compare it to the feature rich fishing kayaks offered by other brands for less than that. There is alot more value out there. It would be great if bote added some accessories or additional features for the money. Anyway, great video Justin. I'm glad your liking your new rig.
that's awesome, I got my Bote board from hagan coastal outfitters too about a year ago! Went the inflatable route, great people there, super helpful. Enjoy the new board, I can't wait to see more vids like this!
I have a 2018 Rackham & it’s been great. I use the Bote tacklerac and the Kula 5. I’ve had zero issues and I bought the board before the Gatorshell tech came out.
im trying to fish the back bays of the ocean/inlets, im debating whether or not i should buy bote paddleboard or hobie kayak...idk which would be safer in rougher waters with the possibility of rouge waves. both will have trolling motors.
Great video brother! So stoked to see your first red on the new Bote was on the Black Sail Flies mullet fly I sent you! If they keep producing for you more will be on their way!
I've been looking at those Bote paddle boards for a while I need to pull the trigger n get one they r bad ass!! I have a paddle board and I just lay my spinner down flat and bring a 5 gal bucket to carry my fishing stuff in and I do good with it ,, But Bote are top of the line and I love the tackle rack it's awesome,!!! Down here in Estero Bay /.Lovers Key there is a No Motor Zone with flats like u are fishing that are great for SUP fishing plus get hardly any pressure since No Motor Zone ,,
Another banger man! Where is this? Down in the everglades area? I'm in northeast Florida at Flagler, I have flats but there pretty muddy. But you made me gonna a gheenoe this summer and actually start a channel also!
@@justin_menendez facts. Same reason I have a yak, uncles skiff floats in 6” of water and we can run it aground and then move weight and it flats off. But can’t use the tm in that water
I love fly fishing from paddle boards. It’s not as hard as people probably think. I’ve learned that a wider board isn’t necessarily better. It’s just a matter of practice. Nice thing is, if you don’t catch any fish you still got to be out on the water paddle boarding.
Just grabbed a Rackham myself and I’m also in Florida. Plan on starting up a channel and logging my adventures as well. Perhaps I’ll see you on the water one day. Keep slaying them reds brotha!
Saw the tarpon scale board and fell in love! I can’t wait to get one already but they were out of stock last time I checked. What part of Florida are you located? More up north? I’m down south
So with the first one do you think it was company problem or previous owner problem? I really want a bote board but have seen so many bad reviews it gives me pause and makes me want to look at the live2fish board.
You would have been better off with the rover. Outboard to your destination and then paddle to little spots like your doing now. But then again for 5 grand it might not be worth it.
I know you make an effort in your vids to keep camera down and keep spots hidden and in the first couple vids along these banks were done fairly well. Just because some spots are harder to get to doesn't mean they need to be online. Not trying to hate I do enjoy your content, but there aren't that many unpressured spots left in central FL. Just be careful.

Love fishing on my rackham. Suction cup GoPro ram mounts work well on them. I always use a set of pliers for the parasites, ha!
bro you are one of the sickest inshore fishermen on youtube

It’s so nice fishing from kayaks and paddle boards.
that 3rd red chargeing the fly was cool
Pretty sick. Pretty much a paddleboard kayack hybrid. Got one of the Kaku ones myself.
I’ve been binge watching your channel recently, fly fishing videos are the best, please make more. That’s all.
Great video brother! So stoked to see your first red on the new Bote was on the Black Sail Flies mullet fly I sent you! If they keep producing for you more will be on their way!
Great video! As an L2Fish paddleboarder, I enjoy the paddleboard episodes.
Love the fly fishing content as well! Hopefully more to come with the new paddle board!
absolutely!

That crab fly looked alot like one I get from Lowcountry Flysmith Brian Balough, any chance it's from him? Love to know where to get that.
That's them Greig!
Have you modified your center fin or does the original fin work in shallow flats ?
Another banger man! Where is this? Down in the everglades area? I'm in northeast Florida at Flagler, I have flats but there pretty muddy. But you made me gonna a gheenoe this summer and actually start a channel also!
Love the Fly Fishing Vids!!!!!
Great vid - with a little artistry and thought, you can paint a very nice ruler on your new boat.
I respect my dawg JM and what he’s doing, (justifying a purchase) cause we all know the gheenoe floats in about the same depth lmao 🤣
Probably a lot easier to paddle around solo tho
Just because a Gheenoe floats in the same depth doesn’t mean you can use a trolling motor in the same depth.

Great video Justin. Pretty water and fish.
Won’t the Yeti line up if you move your bag to a different location, like under the bungee?
Great video and congrats on the new rig, looking forward to more fly fishing videos from it
BEEEEAUTIFUL red brotha!!! On a fly rod!!💪💪🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸. I've always wanted to learn to flyfish but don't really know where to start 🤦

Exactly, good work out at least. Love fishing on mine
Those flys are 🔥
Just grabbed a Rackham myself and I’m also in Florida. Plan on starting up a channel and logging my adventures as well. Perhaps I’ll see you on the water one day. Keep slaying them reds brotha!
21:25 That looked like a friggin turtle. cool follow
Awesome review brother - are you happy with the 12 footer or would you have rather gotten the 14?
Nice setup!! Great video as usual!
Finally let’s goo 🔥
Loved this one! Can’t wait to see all your adventures on the board ☺️
Saw the tarpon scale board and fell in love! I can’t wait to get one already but they were out of stock last time I checked. What part of Florida are you located? More up north? I’m down south
Sebastian Inlet surfing? Just playing. Go video bro. It's not easy getting them that shallow with Clearwater
Have tested the Hobie Pro Angler 14 360
I love your content man, your channels gonna get big, I just hope you continue to make the content that got you where you are now.
where is this? it is a beautiful place
So hard to find people ACTUALLY fishing on Botes. Looking forward to future vids!
yup thank you!
I don’t know why more of use don’t use them! Love mine!
Wearing the same NLBN hoodie right now 🔥🔥🔥
Lesgoooo
These things easy to balance on?
My only problem is how do u find places not choppy to launch this thing
how has the board held up?
Sweet rig!
Where do you get your flies from?
He got the crabs from me
Nice video! How easy is it to get the the paddleboard in and out of the water?
Really easy!
Do a lure review on the nomad vibe vertex swim it is a unique swim bait that is ultra realistic and vibrates in the water
What sunglasses do you have?
So with the first one do you think it was company problem or previous owner problem? I really want a bote board but have seen so many bad reviews it gives me pause and makes me want to look at the live2fish board.
From what I’ve seen, the fiberglass bote boats have issues. New gator shell models are 👌🏼
The tie downs are like that because they are meant for the kula coolers a lot of the botes are outfitted for them now
yeah that would make the most sense
Anyone know what part of Florida this is?
Let’s goo the paddleboard is back
sweet keep up the work!
Thank you!
Solid content.
Where are you fishing?
What kind of fly box?
❤
What happened to your new flats boats....the one you took your mom fishing in?
Both is just too expensive!
Cooler tie downs are made for KULA coolers not your yeti
So the first one you had completely obliterated itself and you bought another one???
What happened to your new flats boat. The one you took your mom fishing in...

Greetings from Indonesia, senior, please allow me to watch the video
Pulls fin from underneath gillplate, yikes haha, not your fault, but still hate to see it
