you should make a list of the books you’ve owned for 4+ years that need to be read by the end of the year if not, unhaul !!!! I would love to see that as a vid ☺️
That's not a physical TBR. That's a bookstore 😂 I'm most definitely jealous. Your special editions are so gorgeous 🥹 While you have a lot of romance, I love trying to spot the books that aren't romance (also trying to spot the books that I have read LOL). Also, I can't believe you haven't read the King of Sins series 👀 I'm feral for King of Pride, and King of Wrath was a solid read too. I wasn't a huge fan of the 3rd book but I think second chance romances aren't for me? Don't worry -- I literally still have 1984 to be read since I was in HS (including the fact that I had to read for school 💀to my English teacher, you didn't see this). The tipping point was SO thought provoking for me. I read when I started college; it's been a long time but I love seeing the statistical examples he gave on how mundane things give people an advantage that we probably don't think of!!
that’s too funny 🤣 yes i know we spoke about it and I’ve been wanting to read it since I got them. Also same, I could not for the life of me read my assigned readings. But the ones i did read were so good so I want to give them a chance now that I’m older.
I tend to treat my Goodreads want-to-read section as a TBR shelf (I know some people who adds any books they are interested in but I am very picky about what I add). I aim to not buy any books if I can (going with e-books or library books unless I want a physical copy for sentimental reasons since I'm not a re-reader), and I usually try to keep my TBR around 10 books or less. I think this has really helped me figure out what I like to read and prevents me from being overwhelmed or losing one book in a sea of other books. Plus having ten means I can mood read but also have things in the back burner for later. To be fair I do tend to read around a book a week give or take so that lets me keep up with what I want to read while also having space to add new books as they are released but having this system also lets me remove books which no long "spark joy" as needed! My neighborhood is also super into little libraries which I think helps since I can swap any physical books as needed and it incentivizes me to finish a book so I can return it for the next person and pick up something new! I'm not sure if you have something like this but I highly recommend either donating to your local library/ local thrift stores if they accept donations or leaving them with your local little library. It just clears a huge mental load!
I can’t find any little libraries near me 😭 but i definitely try to unhaul books where I can. Most of the time, I’m hesitant because of the hype and how popular it is. I wish i could have my TBR down to the double digits 🤣 but im working on it. On the plus side im not afraid to DNF anything
So much of my physical tbr has been books I bought years ago too 😅 for books on your tbr that I’ve read, I recommend Radio Silence (it’s a pretty quick read!) and The Picture of Dorian Gray is one of my favorite classics! I read The Book Thief in middle school and remember liking it as well
The Raven Boys are a really good book. A bit slow, but it's worth it. I recommend just reading a chapter or two at a time (that's how I read it. I couldn't force myself to read the whole book at one sitting, but I really enjoyed reading maybe a chapter a day)
I can’t wait till u pick up the Maasverse, they’re literally my favorite books ever and it would be so fun to see all ur reactions to them (including TOG, since ur older now and it’ll refresh ur memory lol) ❤️🔥 Seriously tho, I watch all ur videos, but if u made one on reading these series in particular, I’d be ecstatic to see ur reactions 🤭❤️🔥 Anyway, happy reading and I rly hope u enjoy the Maasverse when u get around to it! ❤️🔥
This makes me happy that I have the kindle app. I love having my physical books but if I had this many it would just make me so anxious. Beautiful collection. I just like my collection on the app lol
Hey Amy my name is Megan and I’m a booktuber as well just like you! 🙂I just watched your physical tbr video. I’ve been on a search for new book lovers to buddy read with and I was wondering if you would like to buddy read My Life Next Door with me? I’d be fine with reading it at any point that is ok with you 😊
the brutal birthright series by sophie lark is quite literally some of the best books i've ever read just because i loved the vibe but this video reminded me i need to check out the spinoff series 🤣
a good day is like a couple hours binge of it a slump though means weeks. Typically 1-3 days range. yes i tend to bounce back and forth if i have the audio, so I can move around and do other things.
@@readwithames ahhh if i reread it now it probably is... for some reason when i read it i absolutely adored it. but you should probably start with six of crows because it is technically better and WAY better writing
talk about a lot of books 😂 dammmnnnn 😂 you just added to my tbr ames 🥹 i'm so broke rn that i can' afford any books at all and it's killing me 😭 accckkkk, so jealous of your collection 😩

You have such amazing ideas! I want to make this a series 🥰 plus it’ll help whittle down the TBR since i put off my 4+ year books the most

Woah, I thought I had a lot on my physical tbr! That’s a whole bookshop 😅
Haha that’s my new favorite way to describe my TBR. I know it’s bad 😭 didn’t realize it was this bad until i listed and counted every one.
an interesting video idea would be reading a book a day for a week/month, with either your oldest or recently bought books (maybe both?)
I can attempt to do another a book a month vlog again now that it’s the summer time, the one I did before more of a coincidence 🤣
Damn girll get reading 😂 I vote for the boys of tommen!!
i know I’m trying 😭 tommen is top of the list for sure tho

everyone is vouching for the raven boys in the comments so I might take your advice when i read it ☺️
I haven't seen many of these videos, but you really make me want to film one! I don't have as many books as you, but I have well over 60.
