heyyyy, you havent posted in a while so i hope u see this, but around christmas im getting a 45 gallon standard tank and im going to use a 50 gallon filter because i plan on 2-3 axies in there, is that ok? and also does the api or tetra bottled bacteria booster work to add the axolotls in a few days ? and lastly, is there any possible tank mates for them ? its a large tank for 2 little guys and i wanna add some life so pls reply if you can, thank youuu

I got my first Axolotl today. I have been reading and hearing about cycling your tank and getting the filter bacteria right, taking 4 -7 weeks for the amomnia nitrate and nitrate balances. How does all this fit in after isolation? As the water and filter will need to be clean to prevent the fungus coming back.
HELP!!! I put new fake plants in my tank and it ended up making my Axolotls sick... 😢 they look to have chemical reaction to what ever was on those fake plants. Their skin started flaking and their Gill filaments started falling off. I watched your video and quarantined both of my Axolotls immediately. I do water changes everyday. My albino one is eating and doing better, however, my black Axolotl isn’t eating and he is swimming back and forth repeatedly. He keeps gulping air as well... please help me save my Axolotl Yin 😢
Bryawna Kastning DONT quarantine him take him to the vet!!!! Quarantine might not be enough to save your axie if you want the highest rate of survival take him to your local vet

You know when you stop talking and like just show video which im not hating i think your awesome and your videos are great but the music during the part when you cut to video is way louder than the other parts and i have to constantly change the volume so i can hear you and also not be super loud when you cut to vid/stop talking just a fyi keep being great ❤💛💙💚💜

I checked my water and adjusted it, though now there’s a bacterial bloom. What do I do? Can I help her?

Our axolotyl zooms around the tank and jumps out when we try and move her to a smaller tub to change the water over, she goes ballistic!!!

Watch them closely and see if they are able to poo. If not, they are impacted and need immediate help.

Love your channel but can’t hear 1/2 your videos because the over lay music gets so load.

Kaya yes 100% because stagnant water is a breeding ground for bacteria and will kill your axie

That sounds like ammonia burn, what did you adjust? Is everything okay now.

Despite my best efforts my axolotl still has slightly curled gills while in the tub and I didn’t know how I can make it less stressful for her 😔

Mine were very slightly curled when she was a baby, but it's just because she has really big gills for her head 😂

No, I'm pretty sure they don't need tank mates, although me and my sister do have two together, and the don't interact much.
