@@RonnieJamesDeodorant I ended up returning it to be honest. It did a phenomenal job but I can see how delicate the hose is. I ended up just buying an extractor head for my shop vac and don't mind spraying with a bottle or whatever when I want to extract

I think you spray and clean the carpet in spray mode, and only switch to cleanout mode when you’re done with the job and need to clean the head and the hose with the solution.
