Lisa has long legs and she's naturally skinny. I admit that when I see her rib cage I get chills. But she's like that from the birth. You can see in her predebut pics. And she danced since forever so.
Rose on the other hand has long torso and she's also naturally skinny. She was cheerleader so she was also doing some kind of ''sports''.
Jennie and Jisoo CAN put on weight, especially Jisoo. She said once she had to diet a lot because she gains weight more easily than the others. In their debut you can see they were a little bit thicker. To me, they look healthiest. They are shorter, but their body proportions are good, they both have toned body, you can see their muscles, they do flying yoga and who knows what else.
In the BLACKPINK HOUSE, Rose eats A LOT lol, but on the other hand you can see Jennie eating so little. And they said once ''We are making a comeback so we have to diet a little.'' ''I see other girls eat normally, but I can't so I just watch them.'' -Jisoo

You have to be aware of the fact that blackpink house is also just a show that doesn't nessecarily have to show all the truth. The truth is that we don't know the members diets, but it is known that the idol business is very strict and most of the idols are on diets and especially girl idols. Maybe Blackpink can eat whatever they want or maybe not. I don't mean to accuse them of anything or even hate on the girls, i really love them. This is just my opinion.

i know this was like a month ago but after reading all these comments i can't not reply even if only one person reads it. yg aren't known to be as militant about making their idols diet as other companies are but that doesn't mean they don't encourage it. similarly, blackpink are absolutely seen to eat big meals but the general schedule of an idol has to be taken into account - with their practices, performances and calendars packed so full of appearances that it's common practice for them (and all other idols/trainees) to sleep two or three hours a day, sometimes less, for weeks on end, these girls could be putting away xl big mac meals every hour and it still wouldn't be enough of a calorific intake to match what they're physically expending. these girls ARE malnourished. even taking into account that asian body types are different and do have a lower healthy bmi than the rest of the world, their weight statistics by korea's own health standards put every single one of them squarely in the 'underweight' category and that's not something anyone should glamorize or excuse. eating big meals doesn't mean their bodies aren't being put through so much stress that no amount of food could repair the damage that's being done.
