Dude, awesome collection. Love all the classic rock stuff.
Thank you! 😁
You have more records than I realized. I’m still ahead of you at the moment. Congrats on 2K subscribers.
Thank you Jason! 🙏 Congrats to you to having more records than me!! 😄
Congrats on 2,000 subs Bryer, you have a great record collection too!😃 Abbey Road, Dark Side & Who’s Next are essential to own on vinyl, I’m surprised you haven’t got Rumours on vinyl yet.
Thank you Adam! I know, I’m surprised as well. Rumours is definitely on the list. 😄👍
A New World Record was my first album with Electric Light Orchestra back in the 70's
Nice album collection. My first two who albums that I bought 40 years ago were whos next and meaty beaty... My favorite albums in your collection are whos next relayer and Machine Head. I would open the album its not likely to go up in value and you might as well enjoy it. Its a decent album I saw them on that tour. Its kind of middle of the road for heart.
Wow! What are the odds of getting the same Who records. I'll most likey open the Heart album. Like you said, I don't think it's sought after as much. 🙂
Yes Relayer is sooooooo heavy!
Exactly!! Yes and jazz fusion are a match made in heaven! 😁
Open it! Records are for listening.
Thank you for your input! 😀
Couldn't agree more
Boy, that's a pretty jazzy soundtrack to your clip, Bry. Fan? What are your thoughts on jazz? Although my dad was a big fan (trad), I never saw the attraction: one of my sayings is "I yield to no man in my contempt for jazz". However, a few years ago, I did listen to Miles' Bitches Brew and enjoyed it (my friend who dared me to listen said he much preferred Some Kind of Blue, but I was the opposite). I realised I do very much prefer jazz fusion. So much for that for a few years, but I recently caught a jazz trumpeter/pianist Paul Edmonds (UK), and I'm absolutely hooked! Try him out.
I do like jazz. I have a decent amount of jazz albums in the CD collection including Bitches Brew. Jazz Fusion is my favorite form as well. Thanks for the suggestion Iain, I'll keep Paul Edmonds in mind! 😄
Suggest opening an inch or two at the top end. Will loosen up the shrink ever so slightly and allow record a little room to breathe, reducing warp risk
Thanks for the tip, I'll most likey open it anyway. 🙂
Smart man! Collecting records gets costly and you run out of space to store them. :-). I've got everything since my first record that was bought for me when I was 3, which was The Monkees debut. So you can imagine, plus it keeps growing especially when I visit Folk Arts and Record City. LOL. Very cool your album of The Band is in good shape with the textured cover. Most I've seen have total ring wear and split seams.
The Monkees rule!!!!
@@ChrisPropfeMusicallyObsessed Yep... Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, and Jones.LTD is my favorite album. What's yours?
@@SQDLVR That’s a great album. I love Present and Head.
I was pretty surprised as well when I found the album in as good quality as it was. It plays really well too. Thanks for sharing! 😀
Nice collection
Thank you very much! 😄🙏
ELO's New World Record was a much loved LP (my sister's purchase) at home when I was growing up. I still drag up trax from this. Foxtrot has been a staple on my listening roster, but as a cassette. My wife had the LP, but we only listened to it in the car. In those days, cassettes were fairly short, and she taped the LP onto the cassette, but couldn't fit the whole thing onto it. This was a major problem in my day: which track(s) do you leave out? Some albums have "hidden" tracks (ie rarely listened to) for that reason.
I’d love to see you get a bohemian rhapsody picture sleeve 45, I love the picture and B-Side 😏
That's definitely a bucket list item for sure! 😃
Machine Head is my favorite album with Deep Purple
10/10.
Se if you can find Whitesnake's album Saints and Sinners my favorite album with Whitesnake
I'll think about, I already have it on CD so we'll if I love it enough to own it on record.
Have you heard the song. Here comes the sun with Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel it's a really good cover song
I have not, I'll keep it in mind. 🙂
I've been overdosing on their "Somebody Called Me Sebastian" track, it's epic. (Confession: it's the Torisutan extended edition, but it's so epic!)
hehehehe..........i used to have forty albums in front of my turntable
, rather than look through FOUR HUNDRED LPs to find one
i can't even understand what's it's like to ONLY have forty records
i had forty records when I was NINE
That’s how I feel with my CD collection. I used to have 5 when I started, now I have over 1300! 😅
Cause they're like 30 buck each now
@@SoundlabStudios63 no, that's not it.........your $30 has the same buying power as my $5 .......it's that people consume music differently .........my 1000 LP record collection is the equivalent of your Spotify account or the contents of your Apple Library, you just don't get a physical copy.............and that's what the corporations have always wanted: CONTROL .....all your "purchases" are just LIMITED USE AGREEMENTS...they can take "your" media away ANYTIME THEY WANT TO
