Abstract:
In this extract, professor Fuks highlights the importance of the bow to improve the sound quality. He also explains some musical aspects about sound projection, tuning, types of vibrato, phrasing and composer indications, among other issues related to the first movement of the Violin Sonata no. 1 op. 78 by J. Brahms.

8:50 Survivor bias, maestro.... (4% of the people listen to classical music, so they know there should be a cresc., but the 96% won't even be in the audience. The audience is gonna consist of mostly the 4% of people who listen to classical music) (But even if you do listen to classical music, you won't necessarily know there is a cresc....)
Fuks has potential to inspire his students.
