I love mine too. I have two of these Bissell vacuums. Thank you for posting this.I had already cleaned it but wanted to make sure I cleaned it correctly.
I just wish you would show all options that are available for all your power force Helix vacuums because the bottom filter. On mine it doesn't look like yours. The model I have is 2191. And can't see how to access the bottom filter.
I can't see it on mine either. The instructions say to hit the filter release button but I can't find it

I have this vacuum and I love it! I do not have the febreze filter in it because I am nervous if I wash it, I will wager away the sent. Will I or no?
Good question - To ensure the vacuum is running efficiently, you definitely want to wash the filter. Washing along with using the vacuum will decrease the sent however replacement filters can be ordered direct from BISSELL! www.bissell.com/powerforce-helix-turbo-rewind-upright-vacuum-1797/parts?cid=ccsocial2107
You can always spray febreze directly into the filter. The filter smalls quite nice when you put your nose near it however I dont smell anything in the air after vacumming.

there is an additional filter under the cord side motor mount clip that I rinse off when I service my vacuum.

Good question! If you want to clean the bin after emptying you can clean it with warm water and a mild detergent. Make sure it's completely dry before placing back into the vacuum.

@@SNLGUY I just bought one at Walmart 2 days ago.
My Walmart still has them and Bissell still has all the parts available so I plan to buy one and order a few spare parts like hoses and filters now. My 5 year old Powergroom rewind has none of the parts I really need in stock anymore. It's a decent bet for longevity because neither the motor nor the rewind mechanism have failed thanks to proper maintinance.
