Looking up the location, this island is off the coast of Honduras. What a beautiful place to live. I knew that all the Caribbean islanders ate iguana, and it is said that they have great recipes, serve these in their restaurants. I knew it must be good, they serve them to tourists, vacationers. Usually only the rich can afford to travel there, unless they have their own boat/yacht, and those kind are not the type to eat something grotesque.
Sorry but you're wrong. These people have raised them for 40 years and still have Iguanas that are almost that old. They even have names for most of them. They turn orange when they get older. You may want to do your research. I did.
