I would never notice the traffic noises, thunder, neighbors, etc etc if the ASMRtists wouldn't freeze the proceedings in order to apologize for several minutes every time a dog barks. That's 100s of times more disruptive than the events which the listener would never have noticed at all anyway, and personally, it gets on my nerves.

I prefer ASMR videos where someone just talks about something or explains something rather than a roleplay. It feels more natural and I usually find it more engaging (though a well done roleplay can be good too). So I really enjoyed this.

I totally get what you said at the beginning of the video. Marcus Aurelius used to practice a technique in which he’d imagine himself floating outside his head and flying above himself high into the air. Seeing himself - and by extension his problems - becoming small and insignificant, he could more easily see his worries in perspective. Very fun video; I appreciate you making it.

I always get the same feeling when I look up ! I always thought that I must be weird since I have the feeling that nobody else that I know feels that way about the universe . It’s nice knowing that there might be more people who like to think about the universe every time they look up and they feel sorta the same like me . The asmr was really good also . Be blessed 🙏

You are not alone in wondering about the stars and the universe. I live in a place where there's very little light pollution, and I use a camera with a tripod stand, and take pictures of the sky. You can use your phone cam, and a cheap "gorilla stand", and take fantastic photos of the night sky 📸

Holding a single grain of sand at arms length and then zooming in through that absolutely minuscule size area (in almost any area of space) . There are 3,000 galaxies in that extiny space! Galaxies that are over 13 BILLION years old! Not stars but literally thousands of galaxies! Really puts our place in this chaotic, impossibly large universe, into perspective!

Especially that spider one; being some particular species of cave spider that is microscopically small and has the extended leg (as portrayed) only for a period of time during its reproductive season?!
Needing to be high up enough in the air to even see and appreciate the full picture of each lined depiction was amazing enough. Hearing how mysterious some of the chosen drawings are is just mind stretchingly amazin'.

One thing I've noticed about asmr videos in general, or rather human speech, is that we cannot whisper the letter s. You can turn down the volume of any of these wonderful videos and relax or go to sleep, but eventually all you hear is a noise that sounds like s- S- st- S- ps- S- S- etc and wake up because it's so disturbing.

I mean Dark Matter is a pretty fitting name, because with all that we know of it it’s pretty scary stuff. Something that has gravitational pull while also basically being nothing could potentially be the most powerful thing ever. It’s all hypothetical right now, but Dark Matter could open doors for mankind if we ever get to understand and possibly even manipulate it. Think Einstein-Rosen bridges and beyond, it’s crazy

I’m really enjoying the range of what ASMR can be expanding. True Crime ASMR, for instance, is seemingly oxymoronic; however, I quite enjoy it, and fortunately it has become more and more popular recently.
