Chinnor & Princes Risborough Diesel Gala 2022 - SIMON BLASTS THE HORN of an HST!!!

- On the 1st to the 4th of April 2022 the C&PR hosted a DIESAL GALA
It was a spectacular event with an intense timetable of diesel hauled services. We attended on two days and had a fantastic time seeing these wonderful mechanical engineering marvels thrash and clag through the countryside. We were also able to visit the cabs of several of the diesel locos and Simon had the treat of a lifetime when he was able to blast the horn of an Intercity 125 HST powercar!

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly recommend the C&PR railway!

But I'm glad you had a great journey there.
The climate is getting really weird now. It's April, yet you guys got snow in southern England while we got close to 30 degrees summer heat here instead!
(it's supposed to drop back to normal range soon though)
Yeh it was a pretty weird day for weather. Luckily the snow only lasted a few minutes and the sunshine came out again soon after and warmed us up again.
