Coach has always been a high-quality leather goods company. And to be honest, their quality exceeds that of many designer brands that costs four times the price.

I agree. They really shine with their full leather pieces. Ive had pieces that were 6yrs plus, no issue at all. However, A canvas leather tote I purchased wore down very quickly within a month.
@@mattie9419 wow that’s really unfortunate. I guess I’m fortunate enough to not have experience that. I currently have three and one of them is still holding up very well after 6+ years (a canvas piece btw). My leather satchel still feels (and look) new despite being nearly 2 years old. My latest bag was two months ago and holding up well too.
Um Coach is an excellent brand. Their leathers holds up better then some of the more expensive brands. I have a bucket that I've had 30 years and it stills look brand new. To me NOBODY makes a better leather quality then Coach.
This is great to hear! I am definitely impressed with the leather. My coach piece in the past was canvas. But, their leather pieces have received nothing but praise from others!

30 years ago when they still made their bags in the US? Sure. But the modern day bags? Not really.

It’s kind of sad when people are “surprised” by the quality of Coach or other contemporary designer brands. The bags are several hundred dollars and it’s real leather. At a certain price point the materials and process max out and you begin to pay for the brand and the experience, not the “quality” of the bag.
Coach has some amazing bags and I’m so happy they are getting the attention they deserve!

I’ve had this bag for almost a year and it’s my favorite bag ever, even over my LV Speedy Bandolier. I haven’t switched out my bag since I got it which is insane for me! Can’t say enough good things about this bag!

Hi! Great video! I love when I see TH-camrs enjoy both luxury brand and contemporary brand items. Coach has amazing leather quality. I bought two Cassie bags (black/gold and taupe/silver) in the past year & they are workhorses! Honestly, I think they are better made than the LV PM. I sold my PM due to melting glazing; I had the empriente version. Also, my mini fix to the Gucci soho strap issue is to add a hair tie to the strap; it keeps the strap in place 👍🏼. Great video!
The cassie has really "ruined" luxury for me...because now I compare everything to it. When I bought an LV wallet last month, I kept thinking I could have bought a cassie and something else for the same price. Coach has really stepped up their game. I've heard their leather is incredible, glad to hear that you've been enjoying yours! (Thanks for the tip about the soho disco strap!)

Yes, the strap curling up on the Gucci is so annoying! I like the details that Coach thought of when making this bag. It's so practical.

I’ve had some coach bags which I used for years.. they still look like brand new.. quality is amazing for price for coach.. I might buy this one. It looks classy and professional…not with huge logs which I am not a fan of. I might buy this one on sale.

I have the regular ipad, so I think it's 10" I believe! It was a very snug fit, I think it's meant for the ipad mini haha

The Cassie looks like the vintage Coach Court bag that also has a top handle and crossbody strap. Coach’s vintage leather is beautiful and good deals are out there. I personally think Coach is an outstanding brand and have bags that are from the 70’s and still beautiful.

Bought the Cassie last spring and have loved it ever since! I customized mine by getting charms and a second strap. Totally changed the look. Now it reminds me of a Dior instead of the Pouchette.

Lorena Mendoza Coach sells separate straps that you can mix and match with your bags! I also have all the crossbody chain straps in different metals as well. The gold, gunmetal and silver. Really makes your handbags versatile and your own.

I have the pochette Métis and the coach cassie. I think the Cassie is easier to use because of the turnlock opening and the inner compartment pockets. The pochette Métis opening is beautiful but it can be fussy especially if your bag is not as full.
Ahh, I can see that - good to know about the closure on the LV. The pochette metis closure does look like it can be a bit finicky. The Cassie seems like a very carefree bag. Hope you're staying well!
LValiquette - Also, I went to coach for a free leather conditioning on my cassie and they were able to punch another hole on the strap for me for free!! Coach customer service is amazing. 🙂

LValiquette I think it s because they don’t have their own warehouse here - so whoever buys from them has to import and sell it on to us consumers ... so they pay those huge import fees and customs taxes .. and pass it on plus the Margin they want. Resellers for coach aren’t that many, so I think they figure if someone really wants coach they ll pay a Substantial premium. I haven’t found coach at an acceptable price yet in Europe and wished i d browsed physical stores more on my last holiday in the US 😣 I hope they ll open their own warehouse one day on the European continent which would mean no customs taxes and no intermediary margin that should bring the cost to about the level it is in the US.. if anyone knows of a decent price seller for Europe please let me know !

I personally think 2 bags of the same type is too much. But we're all different. If you know you'll get lots of wear out of it that's the important thing.
Look at those people who have a million Hermes birkins or Chanel classics.
I can't even afford one but even if I was super rich I would choose my colour carefully and only have one.

I think the navy is gorgeous! They also have a colourblock one with taupe and orange that is sitting in my cart at the moment haha. Do you wear a lot of neutral colours?
LValiquette we have very similar style. I wear tons of black and neutrals. Hence why I have too many black bags. Unsure if the “neutral” non black cassies are still too much color. I’m waiting for the tan color which hasn’t hit the US yet

Hmm, I'm not sure. I don't think the half letter would fit. My LV agenda is half letter and it's a bit too tight of a fit.

I never understood why some brands have non-adjustable cross body straps. We’re not all the same height or size. If they aren’t gonna make it adjustable, then make it interchangeable. If I can’t adjust it, then let me take it off so I can buy a strap that fits 🤦🏻♀️ that’s one of the reasons I didn’t buy the Gucci Marmont and opted for the Tory Burch Kira camera bag instead. It looks the same but it’s adjustable

That’s a great gift for your mom! Very sweet of you! I bought the Cassie in chalk last fall during a sale. I ordered directly from Coach and chose the gift packaging with a positive affirmation note to myself. Kinda silly but I enjoyed opening it. The Cassie is the most functional shopping bag. The clasp is user friendly to open and close and the sections inside allow you to quickly access your wallet. I use it when I’m feeling like a light colored bag since my other 2 main bags are my black Puzzle bag and speedyb25 in DE.

All is good here except that I’m way over due for a hair appointment and have another month to wait. 🙈 But, first world problems I know. This is the start of week 4 of working from home. I was never a fan of Coach, nothing against it but I recently found a few bags that I really like and this one is so beautiful, simple and practical. How is the quality with Coach? I am not familiar with this brand.
ASMR with Sofia I’m not familiar with Coach either. But, I can say that the Cassie is definitely well made! The leather seems very durable and glazing seems to be perfect!
