The Lost Valley, Phu Village, Manang

This video displays the beautiful Landscape of the Phu Village and the process of Funeral ceremony. Phu Village is located at the 2 day walking distance from Chame, Manang. Phu Village also serves as a gateway to the mountain of Himlung (7126m) and its base camp at an altitude of 4920m. From 2003 AD Government of Nepal opened Phu Village for foreigners with the requirement of taking special trekking permit to travel there. Phu Village Trekking grants you with the total experience of abandoned Tibetan village which remains unblemished by modernity. Trekking in the hidden mystic Phu valley is something extraordinary opportunity to explore the unspoiled natural beauty, un-trodden trails and Medieval Tibetan-Buddhist culture.
