This is gorgeous and I think you both should do more of this videos! You're attracting a whole new market of very passionate people.. I love knitting and this is such an elegant piece. THANK YOU! God bless you and your very talented mother!
Hello Rama, Yes, you totally can :) In fact, my mom (the one who's knitting in this video) also prefers circular needles. We stuck with the regualar ones because we felt the stitches are better visible for viewers. Otherwise circular needles are our favorites too :)
Hi, thank you! Make the ribbing part as it is in the pattern, but when garter stitch starts simply knit the amount of rows that you want the length to be and start decreasing the stitches for neckline sooner ☺
Hi dear, the stitch amount depends from your size. One option would be to follow the pattern (link is in the description). Or you could knit a small sample and calculate how many stitches are on 1cm (or 1") and then multiply that amount with your hip circumference.
Hey! What a nice cardigan. I wonder if you can use two threads instead of one and get a nice result. If you can, do you put up the same number of stitches and use the same needles anyway? (am a beginner so I'm not so sure about these questions). Have a nice day! Regards Linda
Hey Linda, you definitely can get a nice result using two threads. But you probably would need to use larger needles too and decrease the amount of stitches. I would make a few small sample knits with in garter stitch with 6-8mm needles and pick the needle size that looks for me the best. And then I would follow the cm (inch) measurements given in the pattern and recalculate the stitch amount. It's doable but might be a bit complicated 🥺
Thank you! For the smallest size it will be 5 balls of 25g yarn ball, and for larger sizes you will need 6 balls :) It is very light and doesn't take too much yarn.

hi! i love this cardigan but i was just wondering how to make the body of the cardigan shorter? :)

May I ask how many stitches did you cast on for the 1st row? thank you!

May i ask, how much yarn you need for made this Cardi?
For size XS-S you will need 120grams, M-L 135g, XL-XXL 150g of mohair yarn that is 840m/100g. Let me know if you have more questions :)

Is it warm? Even if it is garter stitch? It is so elegant and beautiful.💟💟💟 I hope your mom can make more. Wow she has good eye sight.
@@HandiworksbyClyne If it's knitted from mohair I can guarantee it will be very warm 🤩 Since the yarn is fluffy it keeps warmth to body very well ☺
