Happy birthday Erica! After watching your last video, I purchased the DC4. I have a DC3 but it is too small. Put new edges on a SAK and para 3 S30V. It worked very well. You can never have too many sharpening supplies lol enjoy your day!

The quality control at Case is pathetic. Just received the Buffalo Horn S35VN Sod Buster Jr. with two concerning issues, 1: the blade isn’t centered but is all the way to one side against the liner, and 2: on the handle at the bottom there’s a sharp burr that will catch your finger if not very careful. The handle simply was not machined correctly. I definitely was not expecting anything like this on a knife costing more than $150.00 landed. Needless to say it’s being returned for an exchange, and if there’s any issues with the replacement I’m done with Case.
I'm looking into getting into happy birthday youngstersharpening what's the best method for a beginner to start with if I don't want to buy one of those $200 machines
