You know, how some kids have normal childhoods? While the others grow up playing Might and Magic 9. As someone grew up playing 6-8, it's a bit hard to understate how hated the 9 was by the playerbase due to being so undercooked. Years later I've bought another copy of 9 in a bargain bin for about 50 cents and I still joke that MM 9 is the worst thing you can buy for 50 cents. Also, not sure, whether you've played HoMM, but MM mainline games happen in the same universe and just about everything. It's particularly cool in MM 7 because it happens in the same continent as the iconic HoMM 3 and you're fighting the same creatures.
M&M 6 was most fun i ever had from a game in late 90ies. Thanks for the nostalgia.
