So, they try to get attention to that by having current guests (who may have a legitimate connection to that person, or just are attention-driving) call them out, especially if they're fine with it / do it in a playful manner. Edit: Most of the time I imagine that for ex. "JYP calls out Suzy to go on Knowing Brother! Will she appear this weekend for her comeback???", that would end up trending on NAVER with the Korean fans and it'll end up getting to Suzy, and maybe she'll consider going haha. I don't think it's all too unusual a thing in the broadcasting / showbiz side of things to do it if you have such a large and inter-connected base of artists and celebrities. It's pretty cool, I think.
