Good luck with the cabin. The way things are in New England right now, everyone is booked months and months out. If you want work done you better be able to do it yourself.
For project freebie If you can find a set of ULTRA SLP’s with glass packs (either RPM variant) they work great in the aggressive chassis Ultra Touring… 99 XCR700 too. The room under the hood is impressive. As heavy as the Agressive chassis felt/is…First time you put a set of wedge pipes in one, you’ll sit back and have a beer. No grinding, sanding, hood screen removal. Just holy hell THESE FIT! At least with Ultra based motors. Piston port triples… the triumph was an XLT until 2002? in Gen2 wedge form. Those pipes should be relatively interchangeable too. After moving away from the Wedge, there was always more room to “tinker”
i had a 97 ultra spx that i used for parts for my 96xcr to get it back together after it was used to mow down a few trees of the side of the rail bed and got pretty smashed up....and sorry about the smoke coming from us up here in canada....its all over the place...here in manitoba it was pretty bad a while ago...the sun looked red
Thanks for the mention. It’s been a busy summer for me as well. The clock is ticking and I can already see I’m going to behind on the sled projects going into the fall.
If you want to get a registration for it I've registered quite a few without paperwork in New York, can't wait to see the end result of project freebie!
Nice project updates. I'm one of those going nuts on sleds over the summer. 97 XLT RMK that has been sitting since 13 engine is stripped down to the crank at the moment. 91 500 SKS patr sled chassis is being stripped for disposal atm, some parts are being transplanted onto my 91 500 Classic, which was my fishing sled and is being sold to a buddy then I have 680 plans for my 97 XCR 600 and lightening it up a ton.
Just got a 95 Polaris Indy 680 ultra on trade and the dude told me it "just needs the carbs cleaned" drops it off at my house when I'm not home with no papers, a bent ski, and NO Air Box on the carbs... at least it makes compression and spark... another project i wont enjoy for a while.. at least she came with Fox Shocks... Havent heard it run yet.
Welcome back Todd my two triples are done and restored the 9650 SKS was easy it only has 1500 miles on it it was never rode recreationally it was just used out in Colorado to pull Christmas trees down to the mountain to the Christmas tree farm now it goes to my buddy Croley Enterprises Williams been in snowmobiling mechanic he trained up years ago up to Polaris plant when these triples were coming out Annie told me those SKS has or hard to find and he couldn't believe I found one specially like that and he said he can't wait to Rancho on it in October he loves it he can't believe the condition it's soon so anyway we're hoping Erie Pennsylvania get some snow this year we usually break records but last year was kind of a bummer like I said good to see you welcome back

nice update! wheres the cabin located? can't wait to see 3 fingers honk! also its always a plus when your wife is in mine is the same way its 2 up or no up it keeps me slowed down LOL
I haven’t watched all your videos but have you considered doing a Polaris PWC engine swap like an SLTX 1050 into a sled? I’ve seen multiple of those for sale around MN on Craigslist for cheap.
@@KevinHMN I've also been watching to see what he does. It's a huge expense for what you get. Buying the water craft engine is the cheapest part of the build then the money starts to pour out of the wallet.
Hey Todd, nice to hear from you. I know you can transfer title on the WI DNR website if you have the registered owners information, like address and exact name. I have done it several times but that is from a WI resident to WI resident so not sure if that would help you. P.S., love the hat, trying to get my daughter to make me one!
i did the same thing last year. I am a MN resident and registered a sled in WI on the WI DNR website. I used the persons name I bought the sled from. That guy did not register the sled at all and had no idea who last registered owner was. Had my registration in 15 minutes and the stickers in the mail the next week. MN doesn’t want my $$ WI will take it. Now i can take the paperwork and get MN registration.
Good Update! Sweet projects! Thanks!
Free is always good!!!
Todd your sleds are just incredible
Thanks for the kind words

Being this sled is going to be just a cruiser/workhorse I'm leaving the single exhaust setup on it.

Looked red state side also. 🥵
Super pumped for this years projects. Keep up the amazing triple lovin content. 👍🔥💯
Sure will!!
Statistics show MN droughts lead to getting dumped on by snow! Gonna be a good winter!!
I sure hope your right. We got screwed last winter. 🍻

Hopefully it all works out

Really not worth doing in my mind. I would have 1500 at the least in a set of pipes for it. Way out of my budget on my builds

Any advice for a noob? What's the best sled from Polaris to look for as far as investment and the most hp?
