I found this video family bus more positive than some I've seen. I don't know why. It's cute. They're realistic in saying they can't stay in it forever and that it is not easy, I wouldn't think it would be. And glad to hear a familiar tune in your intro :)

There are many videos of families up to as many as 6 living in a large Schoolie, but THIS one is SPECIAL. What a CREATIVE transitional design for her business to continue on a level completely "out of the box". STELLAR! And it is still an elegant space for people to feel comfortable and to inspire them to perhaps think outside of their own 'box' to create something unique to them. I have GREAT admiration for all of these people! (:

I hope to one day have a bus large enough to live in half and have a cupcake bakery in part of it and this bus has truly inspired me to make it happen.

I would have liked a cohesive look rather than just bits and pieces of their tiny bus home. Like entering the front door and viewing each living space, the big pic, as if walking all the way through the bus. No idea how she got that little salon in there, or whether it's before or after the bedroom? Too much back story, and cute little ones, and not enough layout of the bus and such. As much as I enjoy tiny-home watching, their previous living situation seemed ideal, except for one thing. I learned that the hard way as well, having also owned a large home and acreage, as a single person. Unless one wants their life to be about nothing but that living space, uh, it takes a village. The right "village." Or a tiny home, which also obviously isn't completely ideal. I think the sweet spot is somewhere in the middle, which is often the case with most things. Seems one of the worst things about tiny homes with children, is a lack of alone time. Both for the couple and them as indivduals. That really isn't a secondary thing. That balance for the parents, it's actually paramount for not only their health, but also their children's.
I liked this one a lot compared to some of the others with kids. It wasn't mentioned but I believe I saw shutters so the kids can get some privacy. I think that's incredibly important. I also like that they don't plan to live in a bus forever but are trying to enjoy the young years. Very cute and a very cool bus!

I love the vibes! But as they get older it may get difficult. Since they have two boys and one girl I hope they put up curtains or such on beds, so they can have privacy. Love it though!
They mentioned that this would be just for a few years while the kids were young...getting in quality time while they homeschool on the basics...and experiencing a lot of America while they're at it! Super plan...and making great family memories!

WOW funny that you said that!! Here in WI my dream is to move to TN also & never look back!! My bff lives there & it's beautiful & where I feel I really belong. I'm disabled & have been looking at ALL the options, tiny homes, RV's, bus conversions, containers, something super affordable just to live simply. In all that viewing my dog & I just need a no loft bedroom, stack washer & dryer, & fireplace are the musts. WAITING for my miracle & escape 🙏
To all the people saying they should put there kids in school cause it's better. I don't think it's better. I was homeschooled for most of my childhood and I have never went to drugs and I never drank alcohol or smoke cigarettes. Alot of people don't believe me when I say I was isolated when I was young because I'm very good at talking to people. I was not even raised in church. My parents were able to teach me there values without alot of people contridicting them. I wasn't rebellious cause I didn't ussally see kids rebellion authority. It was hard nevertheless but if I was in school I think it would be hard too. Also it's not good for teenagers to have there own space that's how they get into trouble.
I was also homeschooled for the first 4 years of school.I loved it as you could get stuff done quicker without the distractions.I did miss all of my friends but I don’t think you are less smart if you are homeschooled
