The additional 1 inch added to the hip line is that ease? Since the crotch extension formula gives ease why can’t we mark actual hip?

Hi. Just a clarity seeking question: You said if you use h/16 as crotch extension and not obtaining it from thigh measurement, you get lots of ease. What do you mean🧑‍🦯

Yeah, it will be good to be on the safer side of having enough allowances than to have shortage

Or you can also add 1.5 - 2 inches as your crotch extension,or put your exact tigh divided by 2
