That dance move with "48 Laws of Power..." they did this live and the speed was just insane especially the 4 members surrounding her (Jurin). The arm movements, ooof.
I've always said, XG is a dance crew that has 7 amazing vocalists and 7 rappers. They trained to be an amazing dance crew first for 5 years before debuting. You should watch Hesono O & X-Gene performance video. You'll see that they are Art Personified.
The choreographer is from the Parris Goebels camp. She is 23. Bravo!
XG is just a group of competition dancers who can all also sing at professional level and rap like they're off streets in the US. "Woke Up" is absolutely waking people up to them and this World tour is probably going to the like turning point in them being "Have you heard of XG?" to "You HAVEN'T heard of XG? Where have you been?"
Like they truly feel like have what it takes to be that Spice Girls level of global recognition. And the whole team creative, partnership team, stylists, the girls themselves, and their CEO Simon none of them seem to be doing their own thing or not fully invested they're all moving forward to just put out things that are going to resonate with the fans.
I am happy that XG is not confined to a specific genre. Xpop perfectly matches them! Their dance skills outweigh those of any female group in JPOP or KPOP. All this song "", Rap was delivered directly to their haterz, that because they have a different style they do not accept them. XG is incredibly talented in dancing, singing and acting. These talented Japanese girls exceed the skills of most pop groups today.,. "7 vocalists, 7 versatiles, 7 dancers, 7 ASES, 7 rappers, 7 members, 7 queens, 7 visuals. XG never disappoints. I find it odd so many people often say they want to see a collaboration of some sort, why? Yeah the remix from Ciara and Jackson was good but they don't need celebrities. They have so much talent on this team that they can literally do anything. They haven't made a song that needs a celebrity to cosign them. They are fire 🔥 on their own. Let them cook I say. i suggest checking out the live performances! some of them they do the full choreo and its a lot easier to see and dissect in my opinion

Whoa, I haven't seen you in a while.
I'm glad you realized they aren't K-pop. Everyone thinks so initially. But once you know that they're all Japanese that sing/rap only in English (official tracks) and perform western pop, R&B, and hip-hop, calling them Korean-pop just doesn't make sense. Personally, I think it's kinda lazy and rude!

They're a dance crew that can rap and sing. Dance was a major consideration when forming the group. So much so that 3 of these fantastic dancers were on the bottom of evaluations during the auditions.
Check out their documentary, "Xtra Xtra" when you get time. It's very good. You'll gain a new level of respect for what they do.

Check which dance academy they attended and from which age, that will give you back your confidence in your own skills.

They are all Japanese and produced in Japan, so it's not K-pop.
