Interestingly, the right and center flanks seemed to sustain far fewer casualties than the left flank. I suppose that's due to the denser shield walls.
Typically at normannis events one flank is dedicated to more armoured combatants, that way they can safely engage in more brutal styles of combat. As such when the lines come together, that flank usually sustains less casualties due to their better equipment
