the red gene is a modifier and covers the basic colors ..you never know what gene is there until you breed them. Great job breeding and putting in the hard work Two thumbs up!!
I like them red and white models, especially the first one you showed the older ones. That's the way I like them, I also like the dark black models too.
Hi my friend, do you pair mottled to mottled or mottled to black to even the colour out? I have some mottled blacks and want to create a family but need to place solid blacks over to them to not inbreed. Is that ok to do? Greetings from 🇦🇺
Yes, you can go blacks to mottles and from them use the youngs with white on them to go back onto your mottles. You have the right idea 💡 👏 and after you can go mottle to mottle if that's what your looking for....a family of mottles

It is a recessive red. Both parents must carry the gene.
