This is my favorite BTS song and I never get tired of listening to it. I thoroughly enjoyed your genuine reaction to their MV. You’re right that so much is happening at once. From JK rapping, to the entire rap line to V’s growl and the hard hitting beat it entertains from start to finish. I must have watched it 5 times in a row the very first time I sat down to watch it. I learned to recognize them by distinguishing the specific tone, resonance, and timber in the voice of each member. V has a soulful, rich baritone, and gorgeous falsetto. He also can do the rasp or growl that is heard in their early music especially in songs like War of Hormone and Boy in Luv. Sean, you recognized Suga’s voice because of his rapping style, cadence, change of flow, and delivery. Both RM and J-Hope also have their own unique tone and style. Fun fact: J-Hope is both a rapper and a sub vocalist. He has a rich and beautiful singing voice which is showcased in Life Goes On among other songs. Jungkook is extremely talented and our Golden Maknae is the main vocalist as well as a sub rapper. He rapped a lot in their early songs like No More Dream, Danger, War of Hormone, and Rise of Bangtan/Attack on Bangtan. Jimin’s tone is easy to distinguish as his voice is the highest pitch. His low register is also gorgeous and featured in many songs. Jin has a beautiful tone in his voice and he has a rich low register as well as a pure gorgeous falsetto. I encourage you to learn to distinguish each of the members by their voice and their personalities as their hair colors and styles change with each new comeback.
