Sir thanks a lot. But I've one question. Let's say the size of a partition is 4MB and 2MB of the partition is already occupied by a process. So if a 2MB process comes in then why can't we accommodate the new process in the remaining 2MB of the partition? Will it still be a waste?

How it could be fixed partitioning if you are divide the memory into 2 or 3 MB itself. In fixed partitioning the memory id divided in to equal number of partitions as you toe in the video also. Please reply !
boundaries cannot movies, 2 mb stays 2 mb, it can't become 2.1 or 1.9 , 2 mb means 2 mb 3 mb stays 3 mb, it can't become 3.1 or 3.9 , 3 mb means 3 mb ,its fixed

No bcz it is Contiguous Memory Allocation...so one space can have only one process.... that's why it has Internal Fragmentation
