I found this video while looking for ways to set up my grade for light (LIGHT) touring, some overnight or weekend trips. I can't wait to see how you get this bike set up for ultra endurance riding.
Wow, awesome you're doing the Tour divide! I first got wind of the race via the film in 2011 I guess. I hope you plan on documenting it as best you can 😃
The frame is on my list to buy here in the US. Unfortunately it's unavailable until (? spring or late 2025 I was told ) who knows when. I have a Topstone fully functional and I just didn't want to buy the full bike with subpar parts just for the frame. I may regret it next year though. The new price for the frame may be more than the cost of this built up bike.... Who knows. Any thoughts ?
I just ordered the same bike should be here today. I have never owned a gravel bike before. I have a few high end full suspension mtb. I am sure i will be making upgrades to this bike but wanted to start with a good frame and couldn't beat the price of this bike
Cool, How's it been so far? I was thinking of picking it up. I mostly do Greenways and what not and the Mt Bike wouldn't be easily convertible to a Tri on the road and a road bike wouldn't be able to handle the mud and water that often coats the Greenway in addition to not being cross functional for light trail
my GT Grade build specs
*Second hand alloy Grade frame
SR Suntour GVX
Ergon seatpost (leaf springy one)
SQ Lab saddle
Shimano GRX 11s mechanical
Crankbrothers Synthesis Gravel (alloy)

This is inspiring. Need to get back on the bike after Land’s End to John o’ Groats several years ago. Thanks!
That's a ride I'd like to try,

If you're going to go, you might as well go big. I'll definitely document it,
This is a fucking beautiful bike

You mean 19LBS…or 9KG.
What tires are you goingbto run on the new wheels?
That's a tough question, but right now I'm leaning toward the Conti Race King.
