- Assalam O Alaikum. today we bring you another fuel average video of 2014 Honda City. Honda City has always been known for its crazy fuel economy that even rivals 660cc cars. Today we will take our 2014 Honda City 1.3 Manual on a 300km trip to our village. We will test this car's Fuel average and let me tell you, City really shocked us with the results as I was not expecting this much fuel economy. Honda Atlas introduced 5th Generation of city back in 2009 in Pakistan and it remained in production till 2021. Following are the specification of our variant

Long pe meri city 1.3 manual 2014 18kmpl sy 20kmpl deti hai agr ac bht kam chalaou aur sirf 80km ki speed ho constant. Aur local me 16km deti hai without ac agr bht piar sy chalao r lambay signals per gari band kar lo. Yani ye maximum hai jo mai es gari sy nikal skta hb per jb main es ko rev karun aur drive enjoy karo to city me ac k sath 12.5 se 13.5 ki average deti hai.

@@IrfanMalik-ke2bp Aaap engine oil (kixx) ka use karo mai shop keeper hu car accessories ma deal krta hu or sabko yahi oil recommend krta hu or mai khud bi yahi daal raha hu apni sab cars ma us sa apki average ma 2 sa 3 km ka farak mila ga or mera paas aik octane booster hota ha shop pr us ko petrol dalwana sa pahla car ma dalwa lo petrol wala banda sa phir petrol dalwao 28 ki average aram sa ho jati ha us sa phir thori si kam ho jati ha takreeban 18 19 tak ajaigi lakin kafi din tak apki average 18 tak raha gi or agar dubara average kam ho jai to wahi octane booster dubara dalo gari ma or 1 bottle ko 2 to 3 times use kar sakta ho aap (800) ki takreeban bottle ha Insh Allah apki average kafi achi ho jaigi meri kabhi bi 16 sa kam nai hui average

I have the same model in auto transmission but its fuel avg is bad it gives 9.5 to 10 in city and long 13 to 14
With very light foot it gives hardly 10.5 in city
We had a 2009 model 1.3 auto. It gave us 12 km/l in the city with Ac. My friend has a 2017 1.3 prosmatic. He bought it in 2019 with 15,000 kms and its driven 160,000 kms now. He gets 13km/l in city and 16km/l on long. He has done following maintenance.
1. Cleaned catalytic converter twice
2. Changed fuel pump once
3. Changed Spark plugs twice
4. Does engine tuning after every 15k kms

And get it tune after 20k kms from honda atlas fuel filter and pump will be replace after every 40k km as per instruction on manual. Also clean catalytic and throttle body(car pick will improve but no effect on fuel avg)Its doing same from day first

The way he is calculating the fuel avg any 1500-1800cc non hybrid car can give more than 17-18 km/L easily.. actual avg of car is calculated in city in rush hours... This manual Transmission Honda City with all good & well tuned drivetrain can't give more than 11-12 km/l with ac( in Karachi) & Automatic variant gives 9-10 km/l max with light foot (Tank to tank method) ,whether you use synthetic oils. City is not much efficient car in terms of Fuel consumption, it's a myth all over on internet or the user is miscalculating in some extent.
We kept this honda city for 9 months and manually calculated fuel average many times by completely filling the tank again and again. It gave us 13-14 km/l in city and 16-18 km/l on long. Cars are not only meant to be driven in city or rush hours. Every city has different traffic conditions and we live in lahore where traffic conditions are different. Even my Honda Civic Reborn Manual gives me 11-12 km/l in city and I always follow tank to tank method. Only Auto Honda City gives bad fuel average and that is also due to its inefficient transmission. Also I have done this same test on my Honda Civic Reborn and as you claimed it did not give 17-18 km/l and I have done this same test on my Corolla Grande and even that didn't gave me 17-18 km/l as you claimed so your theory is incorrect. You can check those videos as well on my channel to better understand.
We have kept 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 model Honda City with different mileage while 2013 was zero meter. Every City gave more than 12 km/l fuel average in city with Ac on while many of my friends who own City also claim the same thing. Infact it is a reality rather than a myth when multiple people on internet claim the same thing with proper results. Most Honda city giving bad fuel average usually have bad catalytic converters, bad fuel pumps and filters. These are common problems in these cars.
My 2013 City does hardly 12 km/l in Karachi even after tuning. I try to avoid traffic and I choose route with least number of signals

@@chakaralmani4942 bro liquid hota hai 1000 tak mil jata hai usko petrol dalwana sa pehla half bottle dalwa do aap jo banda petrol dal raha hoga octane booster dalwana ka bad apna petrol dalwana hai apki average 24-25 tak chala jaigi kuch dair ka lia. Apna agar isa use krna hai to highway pr karna udher apko zaida faida hoga aap 400-500 km pr 20+ average la sakta ho or agar aap shair mein octane use krta ho to baar baar break lagana sa 100 km tak range jati ha octane booster ki or dubara normal nai keh sakta lakin agar for example apki average 12 ati thi to 14-15 ho jaigi 8-10 din ka lia
