I have this one button up that I've worn on major moments in my gender transition. Day i went to court to change my name, day i changed my gender marker, when i got my bandages off after top surgery, and even the day i started hormones. It's not my favorite pattern or color but I wear it with so much pride
I love the irony in the fact that you always say "It's chatty. Yall should leave." and then everybody stays because there are no humans here that don't adore you.
i had this pink strawberry shortcake blouse/dress once when i was like 8 or 9 yrs old that my grandma bought me when she was still here and I'd alwaaaays wear it whenever my grandma would want me to be her companion to a post office or a store or just the park outside because i thought she'd be happy to see me wearing what she bought for me. when she passed away when i was like 11, i went and looked for that specific blouse and i cried, a lot. just because that was the only physical thing that reminded me of her and it just brought me back to all of the post office adventures me and my grandma had. i kept it for so long but i never wore it again because it didnt fit me anymore. yeah, it just reminds me of her so so so much and everytime i stumble upon that blouse it makes me so nostalgic back to when i was a little kid and when she was still here :-(
Aww no I'm so sorry... when I was 9 my nan passed away and it was like a month after my birthday. my mum cleared the house and found a necklace that my nan got me for my birthday I've kept it ever since but I still wish she had given it to me instead of it being found after she passed :(
Hey, even though it doesn’t fit, maybe you could make it into a stuffed bear? With like the logo on the tummy? Or like a pillow? Idk so you can like hold it and remember ig
Watching this video really made me take a step back and think about what makes me nostalgic, and I didnt even realize that my clothes do in fact play a big role in my memories. I always try to buy some article of clothing when I visit anywhere significant so I can always remember it. My favorite pair of shoes I bought at a mall in Hokkaido, Japan, and everytime I wear them I think about the people I met and things I saw. I remember playing with sparklers in the middle of the night, and going to the Sapporo tower in my pajamas. I have a sweater that says "Homer, Alaska. Where the road ends and the sea begins" and it reminds me of when I fell in love with Alaska. Even though I've lived in Alaska my whole life, it wasn't until that summer when I went to The Spit that I really began to see how beautiful it is. My best friend just moved out of state and I really miss her. But before she left she gave me her pair of black Timberland boots. I love them and they always remind me of how much I love her and her grandma and I can't wait until I can go visit them. (Conan actually inspired me to start mailing them actual letters. It feels way more personal than just texting) And this is only a fraction of my favorite clothes and memories.
Amorah Lopez I once bought a sweater I really loved. A friend of mine did too so I lent her it for a week or so and after I saw her wearing I decided to give it to her because she loved it so much. 2 years after that happend she moved to a different state, and she gave me the sweater back even though it was her's. Sadly I don't fit it anymore but I still keep it because it's still to this day, a year after she moved it still smells like her.
i have this oversized button down shirt with a whole bunch of pugs on it and it reminds me of my girlfriend ((its her favorite shirt that i own)) and the day we spent together while i wore that shirt
Mya Kylene I wish I lived in an area with quality thrift shops 😂 he lives in a town with lots of old people so the thrift stores have nice vintage clothes. My area is a student population so it's rare to find a high quality vintage item in a store
I have this big bright yellow hoodie which I wear everywhere, but I think the best memories I have are late night phone conversations in my garden with my best friend and the first time actually wearing it to school feeling so self conscious but then realising I didn't actually care what other people think about me
This video was so cute. I'm a junior in high school so whenever you talk about being a senior, it's like seeing what I might feel in a year's time and how I should enjoy the time I have with my friends while I have it. Thanks for all that you do
Don't get me started on nostalgia! I am a hoarder of nostalgic things, like my red volleyball sweatshirt. It actually has no connotation or relation at all to volleyball for me anymore, but it does remind me of a good concert I went to with my friend! We went to see 5sos (5 seconds of summer) August of 2016 and we stayed after the concert to try and meet the band members. It's a really special sweatshirt to me because my friend was cold so I let her wear it, and while we where bonding and talk until 1am, we saw calum hood (the bassist and my favorite member) and he walked past us and said hi! It was the craziest thing to us, that as we were talking he just kind of showed up. It was awesome and now every time I wear that sweatshirt my friend and I just scream "itS THE CALUM HOOD SWEATER!!!¡!" at each other and laugh so hard. Omg sorry to ramble just lots of great memories and nostalgia there. If you read this, then thank you, it was nice to share!!☺️
me too! it's a culture we don't see a lot of it anymore, but i love to talk about the past with my parents, grandparents and stuff. it's like a reminder to live with gratitude and appreciate the past and present :')
My mom bought me these little pink converse when I was born and she keeps them in her review mirror. So when I'm searching the parking lot I see my little feet in the window.
When you say this year doesn't feel like high school, I get exactly what you mean. Senior year is definitely a unique experience, in a good and exciting way:)
This video made me feel a lot of things. It made me inspired. It made me inspired because my general view of the past was very boring, I didn't do much. When I was a kid I spent a majority of it watching TV which is nice but boring. And in the past few years i've grown more self aware but it's really just sitting in my best. That's all I can remember it to be. And that's all I could make it to be, because I don't have very many friends. So this video made me inspired, it made me want to go out and meet people and talk and have adventures. But it made me sad cause I struggle a lot with anxiety and depression so I kinda feel like I can't go out and live and have adventures. And I currently have like two friends so I don't really have anyone to run around with. That sadness kinda made the inspiration fade. But more than anything this video reminded me that I DO have memories. That for the past 15 years I have done more than sit around watching TH-cam and TV and staring at the floor. And those memories can be shown through clothes. I'm a very forgetful person, but I can remember lots of things. So I'll tell you about some of my clothes: One of the first things I thrifted was a light pink cardigan thing. I wore it to my first and only concert to see my favourite band. I also have a green button up shirt. It's kinda ugly and it has not-so-great memories. I remember walking into my second therapists office and her telling me that I got "dressed up". My Dan and Phil shirt is packed full of memories. A small emo phase, the joy I got when I got it, memories of Fall Out Boy and Instagram. I have two shirts that are bright colours that remind me of summer a few years ago. I was a happy, careless kid and I went to the mountains. I remember myself being very happy, whiny, and the opposite of self aware. I didn't know anything. It was so careless, but kinda disgustingly careless. I don't know, I just don't like myself back then and even though I'm having a hard time loving myself now, I prefer myself now and I like how I've changed to be more aware and optimistic. But anyways. I have this navy blue dress with orange and red flowers on it and it was the dress I wore the first time I ever performed. And I wish I had more clothes with more stories but the stories are pretty boring and currently trying to get rid of old clothes. But I just bought some new stuff and they're really pretty and it's really kinda finding my style and finding myself. So I'm excited for the memories I make in those. Whether the memories are good or bad, by myself with others, I'm absolutely petrified and thrilled for the future. Thank you for this video and I'm sorry this comment was so damn long.
i love how the comment section in every conan's videos are all positive and radiating ray of sunshine agh ilysm wishing you all the best and most aesthetic things in the world!
One of my most worn pieces of clothing I own is this red Fresno State windbreaker jacket. One of my uncles gave it to me during the summer of 2016 and at first I didn't think much of it but after wearing it once I just fell in love with it. It's a little oversized but that's what's so great about it. Whenever I wear it it just reminds me of all the fun memories I had with my family in Fresno during the summer of 2016.
I have a favorite blouse that has an adorable 60's style print that's drawing of flowers, (it's shoulderless and a pretty lilac color). It's my favorite because a very good friend of mine gave me a pastel on the day i was wearing it and (kinda unfortunately) some of the pastel chalk got on the blouse. But i like it because it feels symbolic for the day that friend touched me and became a big part of my life (imagine the friend is the pastel stained on my blouse). 💕great video conan i love these
My dad gave me his windbreaker-like jacket he got from a concert. It says "Lit" on the back, and no, not Lit like turn up or intoxication. Lit like the band (the people who sang My Own Worst Enemy. If you don't know that song, I'll be surprised). And let me tell you, it's 11000000 times too big for me. But in all honesty, I love it regardless. It means a lot to me because music is one of the many things that my dad and I can relate on. We're both music lovers.
I remember I started following you in 2017 on my school account and got in trouble for watching TH-cam on it. You were one of the first youtubers I started watching and I’m glad I did. I love you and listen to your music all the time. I hope you see this and know you impacted my life in many ways. I love you so much
there's this pair of black and white nike shoes that I wear/wore everyday, and they remind me of times with my two amazing best friends, Abby and Ellie. We would always walk to the PE locker room during lunch, 30 minutes before we had to go there, and just sit on the counter, us three, and talk about all things, whether they were serious or absolutely ridiculous, and listen to music ranging from broadway to Country to Emo (we all had very different music tastes so we had to take turns playing songs on Abby's Spotify app) We grew so much closer together in that incredibly empty, slightly smelly locker room than ever before, and those simple shoes were always there as we grew as close as we are today 💓
I think thrifted clothes have an aura about them unlike new clothes that exists because you know that someone owned it before you and it had a life of its own before you bought it. I love the idea of clothes carrying meaning and significance because they were loved by people before me. It's the same with second hand books as well- not only do they carry stories in the pages, but the object itself has a story as well
it saddens me a bit when u say that we probably dont care bc i loooooove love absolutely adore hearing about other people's memories and im sure the majority of people here do as well!!! i love this video and you
My mother used to wear this lavender sweater with the most tackiest designs on it. It looked incredibly 90s but I adored it. She wore it a lot when I was a child and it just reminds me of simpler times. Even though this isn't my piece of clothing, I still remember it and it brings back such good childhood memories. Thanks for making this video, Conan! You made me cry a little thinking about clothes lol
PRIMARY COLOR SWEATER SO BOOTIFUL I'VE SEEN IT A MILLION TIMES I always used to think that thrifting was disgusting and the clothes were all ripped up. But now, I understand it a lot more and I'm probably going to a charity shop or Goodwill this weekend :) Thanks for inspiring me to thrift :)))))
I have my moms vintage Marquette sweater and I have many memories from late summer and early autumn of 2016 with it because that's when I started an IV treatment for my illness and it was my comfiest sweater to wear to it:)
your chatty videos make me so happy, and something that makes me feel nostalgic are these lined tan snow boots. I never get to wear anymore bc I live in California but I bought for when I went to visit my mom in Seattle. I just remember wearing them while going on the airplane by myself for the first time and being so scared. I remember waking up everyday and putting them on (bc they're the only snow related shoes ive ever owned) and all of the memories of every single day I was over there. I remember car rides next to my little 3 year old brother who i hadn't seen in a year, i remember helping my mom shop for a new years eve outfit, going to a park with them and taking picture of everything, driving with my mom at midnight down the street and around the corner just to buy sweetbread and hot cocoa, seeing my older brother for the first time in I think 6 years at an Applebees that only had four other people inside, walking around the neighborhood scared to death looking for their pregnant lab who had gotten out, playing with my little brother at a McDonald's playground, watching their adorable black lab give birth, taking care of these tiny mixed baby labs, my little brother mad at me on the car ride to the airport because he know I wasn't going to be back for a while so he wouldn't say a word to me till finally when I was leaving he gave me a kiss on the cheek, my stepdad and mom rushing to get to the airport bc we thought I was going to miss my flight and I was mainly late bc my mom insisted on packing me a lunch, snack and dessert. Wow this seems long, and I seem annoying now anyways if you read this Conan I love you and how nostalgic you are, it remind me to slow down and not only think but feel.
I have a pair of Converse that I wore all through high school, and they remind me of listening to music with my friends, and how insecure I was about how I looked and acted back then.
i think you should do a video where you talk about your different music tastes and songs you've loved throughout your life. like for example i have some old spotify playlists that i made 3 years ago that i've been listening to a lot lately even if my music taste has changed since then, but it brings me back to those years. it'll be chatty and a lot of taking abt music without actually playing music but hey still sounds like a great video
loved this. love thrift stores. love how when you go to the thrift stores people donate clothes that they may have fond memories with and then you purchase that item and then you have memories. its just such a great cycle
I have this grey beanie that I wore to a Lorde gig back when i was 14 and now, i just get a lil sad whenever i listen to Lorde while wearing it, cos i dont really see my best friend who i went to the gig with...
That wasn't boring AT ALL! Im a nostalgic person too so I is really so nice to watch a video like this and think then about my clothes and memories. I have a hoodie that my friend from India gave to me before he left my country after we spent two months together, and before that hoodie was given to him in the youth organization he was a member of, and it is so personal and special, I am wearing it at home all the time for already a year, and the moment I am putting it on always seems as if he hugs me (that's crazy I know!! haha) Anyway love your video!
I have this green knitted cardigan and it's by far my favorite clothing I have as of right now. Since I moved to a new school that cardigan has been there to keep me warm and calm when I felt like I couldn't breathe because I didn't knew anybody. It has made me felt close to home even when I was far away. A couple months later and I made a few friends and that knitted cardigan just reminds me of new possibilities and new adventures and just having a little faith that everything will be okay. Even when times seem cold and distant, there's always Hope for new beginnings.
ik its 5 years later, but my favourite is my superarche tour shirt. the concert was the first time i was in a different city then my family and i got to go with close friends and see so many cool people. love that shirt
I have a tan turtleneck I thrifted a year ago, I have so many memories of errands and thrifting with my dad, going out to coffee with my good friends in the morning and it’s freezing, it’s really nothing special but those memories are priceless to me
I don't have any good memories... in life. I have a couple, but nothing important. I don't have a group of friends, i have a horrible (non existent) relationship with my family... i can't wait to leave for uni and make some memories and live life :)
I have this hoodie from my old school from when I was like 12. My friends and I all have it. We would go out for lunch like every Thursday and eat sushi. Then we would go to a playground, take our coats off despite the snow and take pictures together or sometimes play games. Then we would rush back to school. Whenever I wear my hoodie I feel upset but happy at the same time because I really miss my amazing friends.
So one of my memories is: Me and my friends were sitting in the hallway ( when we were first years) because there was no empty spot we could have lunch. We laughed a lot and we called ourselves tramps, and then some older years heard and they gave us money because we were 'tramps', and then they walked away. And we were just sitting there like: ' What the floop just happened!?' . We were happy with the money though..haha
I've only known of you for a few months but i completely adore you. You've been through so much but you still manage to be this amazing, successful person and that makes me happy. Keep working Conan because i know that everything you do will benefit you in the future. You're so beautiful and just everything about you is something to love.
i have a dark green mock neck thats 100% acrylic that i got at goodwill. it makes me feel like a classy librarian, and it makes me feel intelligent because i feel like i come across as more flamboyant to my friends but im actually a smart person and my friends dont know this side of me that much. it makes me feel like myself.
Every video I watch I find something new that is common between us. Clothes also hold a very special part in my heart. Sometimes I also hug and kiss the dress I am really attached to. I also inhale the smell of my lil niece's old clothes and kiss them too. Cone, you're someone I will never get bored of listening to. You're such an amazing person. I hope the Almighty blesses you with all the happiness and love. ❤❤❤
It is so nice to know that there are people out there that think they same things as me this video literally made me cry and i am only at 2:38. Being nostalgic is both good and bad because the memories that are attached to something as simple as a t-shirt aren't always something you want to remember. And sometimes you wish you could re-live those moments forever. I love Conan so so much what a pure person. Gives me hope.
I had this cute pink dress that I used to wear when I was younger. It reminds me of consultations at my favorite pediatrician who always used to ask my parents to buy me cereals for when I was sick.
well, this one time i went thrifting with my mom and i bought this comfy sweater i really loved and i wore it all the time and it made me really happy and confident. then one day my mom went told me "i shouldn't have let you buy that sweater, that colour really doesn't look good on you" after that i stopped wearing the sweater and felt really bad becaues i didn't even look good in my favourite item of clothing. but right after watching this video, i put the sweater back on because i still really love it.
Even though I'm way too big for it now, my black and white striped dress that I wore to my first ever dance is still hanging in my closet. Every time I rummage through all of my clothes to try and find something to wear and I catch a glimpse of those stripes, it always makes me think back to spending that night goofing off with my friends and my first kiss. It's just really nice to have something tangible to go with honestly one of my favorite memories.
I am literally the most nostalgic, I have such a hard time throwing things away. My favorite piece of clothing is this wool winter hat with braided tassels. My dad is from Ireland and we were traveling over there to visit family. I was around seven at the time and my mom gave us a little budget to get a souvenir. I was completely the kind of child who would be swayed by those mass produced tourist souvenirs like rocks or a stuffed animal; however, I remember going into this shop and trying on this hat and never getting it out of my mind. We ended up going back to that shop at the end of the trip just so I could buy that hat. Living in Maine, that hat has come in handy so many times. I still wear it to this day around ten years later. I don't know what business I had as a little kid buying a hat but I am always thankful for warm ears on a cold winter day.
what if conan's hair describes his life? he said his hair goes through phases, well what if the phases of his hair describe his personality? when his hair used to be really curly, he was still trying to figure himself out and be more confident. and now that his hair is wavy WHAT IF IT MEANS IF HE'S MORE OPEN AND PROUD TO BE HIMSELF
I have this huge baby blue sweater with a white hood that has ears on top of it. On the front are two polar bears and I love it so much! I got it from a friend who got it from his cousin and he gave it to me. So obviously it reminds me of him, but it also reminds me of watching the sunset and stars, late night conversations with friends and cousins, waving at satalites, big cups of tea and hugs. I just really love it and it makes me feel really warm and soft inside
When I was in Paris last year with my mom, I tried really hard to pack light. I succeeded, but I did regret it hardcore. I wore the same stinky brown leather jacket and blue jeans every day and by the end of the trip, I hated those clothes!! Only today right after watching this video did I put them on again and enjoy the memories I made in them! Thanks Conan!
I have a maroon sweater that I got for Christmas in 2015 and I used to wear it everyday around the time that I met my dearest friend. That sweater reminds me of the carefree days during lunch when we'd be cartwheeling in the daisy filled grass behind our school and going to the cafe his friend's parents own and drinking iced chai tea lattes and watching studio ghibli movies in my biology teacher's classroom after school and our endless jokes that only we understand, and that sweater reminds me of when I just completely fell in love with him (platonically) and all the hugs in that sweater. Also this video is the opposite of boring! None of your videos could ever be boring, even if you're just inside Starbucks editing or doing homework, and I'm also very nostalgic, you're one of the few people I can truly relate to 💛
I find watching your video's so heartwarming , I may not have had the best of high school experiences but I did enjoy it, I'm part way through my first yr of university studying art and I think the biggest struggle I've found is letting go of being a teenager and I find myself often wondering how nice it'd be just to be hanging around friends spending endless amounts of time wandering streets in the summer just enjoying the lack of responsibility I had. So watching your videos makes me happy seeing you and your friends happy and seeing how your coming to terms going away to collage and I get it completely its such a hard time and confusing and exciting time.
I don't know if this is odd but certain smells make me really nostalgic. Whenever I smell Coco Channel perfume I immediately think of my mom and how she always only puts on a little bit because she likes to take such good care of all her stuff and make them last a long time. It reminds me of when I used to watch her get ready when I was younger and how she always finished off by putting on a tiny bit of her perfume. It always surprised me how even the smallest spray clung onto her for so long and made her hugs 10x better. Or the spell of chlorine always reminds me of the summers I spent swimming in my friend, Hope's pool and all the playing we would do. Like the times we would take turns riding my bike while the other person ran alongside them and all the hours we would spend filling up her driveway with chalk doodles. Just that one smell sets off a chain of memories in my head, which just makes me appreciate and love her so much more.
I don't have any clothing that I connect memories to, but that's not a bad thing for me. I've had to get rid of everything and start new every year ish, but it's still nice seeing other people enjoy memorable ties to material items. It makes me see that sometimes the smallest things make the difference.
I have an burnt orange jacket that I bought last year. It was something I wouldn't of worn the year before but I stepped out of my comfort zone and I have loved adding more colour into wardrobe. The jacket reminds me of autumnal days🍁drinking chai lattes ☕️ and going on woodland walks🌲with my friends. I can't wait for your song next week 🙌
you have to look everywhere!! last weekend i went to goodwill and went through every rack of jeans so i can find the ultimate pair of mom jeans and i did!!!
I always find inspiration from urban outfitters or something then when I go to thrift stores I have an idea of what to look for. Also you literally have to look through everything! And if you don't find anything, go back the next week!
I just got emotional over someone's t-shirts. lol.
💕

Aww no I'm so sorry... when I was 9 my nan passed away and it was like a month after my birthday. my mum cleared the house and found a necklace that my nan got me for my birthday I've kept it ever since but I still wish she had given it to me instead of it being found after she passed :(
Hey, even though it doesn’t fit, maybe you could make it into a stuffed bear? With like the logo on the tummy? Or like a pillow? Idk so you can like hold it and remember ig

You sound like the kind of person I would get along with (mostly because I would act the exact same way around Calum Hood)
Oriana Bennett that sounds so cool 😲

same omgg
My mom bought me these little pink converse when I was born and she keeps them in her review mirror. So when I'm searching the parking lot I see my little feet in the window.
Dorothy Bloomberg my mom does this too with my tiny adidas shoes

Can I just say that this comment section is so PRECIOUS I feel so warm
Kristina Palattao same 🌻
When you say this year doesn't feel like high school, I get exactly what you mean. Senior year is definitely a unique experience, in a good and exciting way:)
Sean Griffin im in the same position 😭
Sean Griffin I have 2 classes. 2...I feel u
AND in a stressful way
When you are in an IB school and unrelatable :(
Claudia what's IB school?
thank you for being on TH-cam ❤ it really inspires me
also you helped me chose to pick my subject that I will be studying when I am 13-14
Thank you for this video and I'm sorry this comment was so damn long.
also this kinda made me want to go out there and record more
:')))
There’s something about watching old Cone videos that brings happiness into my life 🥹
i love how the comment section in every conan's videos are all positive and radiating ray of sunshine agh ilysm wishing you all the best and most aesthetic things in the world!
i love cone. everyone who knew him back then is just so lucky:'(
Ikr:(
i saw someone wearing a lacoste shirt yesterday and i screamed "CONAN" and they prolly thought i was mental haha
back to rewatch old videos before finally seeing him live tonight
Seguri Egg-san that's so lovely xx
I remember I started following you in 2017 on my school account and got in trouble for watching TH-cam on it. You were one of the first youtubers I started watching and I’m glad I did. I love you and listen to your music all the time. I hope you see this and know you impacted my life in many ways. I love you so much
there's this pair of black and white nike shoes that I wear/wore everyday, and they remind me of times with my two amazing best friends, Abby and Ellie. We would always walk to the PE locker room during lunch, 30 minutes before we had to go there, and just sit on the counter, us three, and talk about all things, whether they were serious or absolutely ridiculous, and listen to music ranging from broadway to Country to Emo (we all had very different music tastes so we had to take turns playing songs on Abby's Spotify app)
We grew so much closer together in that incredibly empty, slightly smelly locker room than ever before, and those simple shoes were always there as we grew as close as we are today 💓
I have this one pair of pants I thrifted and I've been wearing it for 8 years and still havent grown out of them. Im 18. Love you Conan ❤
YESS SAME!!!! they're shorts though; have gotten a lil too short but i've gotten a lil more confident so it works out.
Conan Gray I bet you look great in them. As you do in pretty much everythingn you own. I look like a potato on a potato sack. Potatoception 🥔
What would you call his vibe ? His style , music , and taste in room decor ?
I want a single word that describes it all
Dreamy
Alejandra Martinez na seriously
Would you call it vintage ?
Idk
How about creamy
Alejandra Martinez okay thank you 😂😂
Mellow
i think you should do a video where you talk about your different music tastes and songs you've loved throughout your life. like for example i have some old spotify playlists that i made 3 years ago that i've been listening to a lot lately even if my music taste has changed since then, but it brings me back to those years. it'll be chatty and a lot of taking abt music without actually playing music but hey still sounds like a great video
this definitely made me appreciate my clothes more
can you make a video on your tips for thrifting??
Taria YES
Taria THAT WOULD BE GREAT !
pls
YESSSSS PLS
Taria Oooooh yes! That would be awesome 🌼
oh my god. the song that he was excited about releasing was ide town, i may cry
My favorite shirt ever is my Batman tee, and I've never read the comics nor watched the movies, but wearing that shirt has always made me feel brave.
loved this. love thrift stores. love how when you go to the thrift stores people donate clothes that they may have fond memories with and then you purchase that item and then you have memories. its just such a great cycle
I have a hoodie that my friend from India gave to me before he left my country after we spent two months together, and before that hoodie was given to him in the youth organization he was a member of, and it is so personal and special, I am wearing it at home all the time for already a year, and the moment I am putting it on always seems as if he hugs me (that's crazy I know!! haha)
Anyway love your video!
Thought you're so warm and cute when you talked about the Alaska sweater :")
It's so nice to recall the old memories! love this kind of videos
i love how nostalgic and poetic conan is please protect him
ik its 5 years later, but my favourite is my superarche tour shirt. the concert was the first time i was in a different city then my family and i got to go with close friends and see so many cool people. love that shirt
I have a tan turtleneck I thrifted a year ago, I have so many memories of errands and thrifting with my dad, going out to coffee with my good friends in the morning and it’s freezing, it’s really nothing special but those memories are priceless to me
i'm obsessed w your style oh my gosh
I don't have any good memories... in life. I have a couple, but nothing important. I don't have a group of friends, i have a horrible (non existent) relationship with my family... i can't wait to leave for uni and make some memories and live life :)
Gabrielle Vachon you're not alone, I relate to this a lot
i hope everything turns out better for the both of you soon :')
how are you now ❤️
i hope everything worked out for you!
i want your closet conan, literally the softest, cutest!
So one of my memories is:
Me and my friends were sitting in the hallway ( when we were first years) because there was no empty spot we could have lunch. We laughed a lot and we called ourselves tramps, and then some older years heard and they gave us money because we were 'tramps', and then they walked away. And we were just sitting there like: ' What the floop just happened!?' . We were happy with the money though..haha
Laura Parijs Art :)
I've only known of you for a few months but i completely adore you. You've been through so much but you still manage to be this amazing, successful person and that makes me happy. Keep working Conan because i know that everything you do will benefit you in the future. You're so beautiful and just everything about you is something to love.
i have a dark green mock neck thats 100% acrylic that i got at goodwill. it makes me feel like a classy librarian, and it makes me feel intelligent because i feel like i come across as more flamboyant to my friends but im actually a smart person and my friends dont know this side of me that much. it makes me feel like myself.
this makes me feel like I have nostalgia but for your youth, like I'm living vicariously through you
"are going to stanford honey?"
Notification squad 🌞🌼💗
WEEEEE!!!!!!!
The smell of melting snow gives me so much nostalgia because I was so super happy during that time and just,, ahhh i love it
Damn Conan is so aesthetic
It is so nice to know that there are people out there that think they same things as me this video literally made me cry and i am only at 2:38. Being nostalgic is both good and bad because the memories that are attached to something as simple as a t-shirt aren't always something you want to remember. And sometimes you wish you could re-live those moments forever. I love Conan so so much what a pure person. Gives me hope.
I love your chatty videos🌼 your voice and editing is so relaxing thank you❤❤
I had this cute pink dress that I used to wear when I was younger.
2am study sesh with conan playing in the background :-)
He is so frickin sweet. First video I have seen, yet I already know that this boy is an extremely positive and happy person. Such a kind soul xx
god i love conan with my whole entire heart. i live vicariously through his memories and his confidence.
ps drink water
Yes people watching
ChannieOfficial OH MY YES
What if
Are you.. Are you a literature teacher?
Omg this hits different, his hair really has changed at the same time as different parts of life
I have this huge baby blue sweater with a white hood that has ears on top of it.
I want to cry..he's so freakin adorable..OML ✨✨
When I was in Paris last year with my mom, I tried really hard to pack light. I succeeded, but I did regret it hardcore. I wore the same stinky brown leather jacket and blue jeans every day and by the end of the trip, I hated those clothes!! Only today right after watching this video did I put them on again and enjoy the memories I made in them! Thanks Conan!
I love this. We need a 2018 version!!
Now we need a 2022 version
None of your videos could ever be boring, even if you're just inside Starbucks editing or doing homework, and I'm also very nostalgic, you're one of the few people I can truly relate to 💛
I was having such a stressful evening and this calmed me down so much. Thank you cone! ♥️
I love the way you just say "we" when referring to you and your friends. There's something really nice about that
and i love ur personality despite me just starting to watch ur videos
I find watching your video's so heartwarming , I may not have had the best of high school experiences but I did enjoy it, I'm part way through my first yr of university studying art and I think the biggest struggle I've found is letting go of being a teenager and I find myself often wondering how nice it'd be just to be hanging around friends spending endless amounts of time wandering streets in the summer just enjoying the lack of responsibility I had. So watching your videos makes me happy seeing you and your friends happy and seeing how your coming to terms going away to collage and I get it completely its such a hard time and confusing and exciting time.
His videos are amazing omg😭💖 I wish I had friends, so that I could reminisce about good memories😂
Just that one smell sets off a chain of memories in my head, which just makes me appreciate and love her so much more.
youR AIRPLANE SONG WAS SO CUTE AHGDFKJI
Sophie A i replayed it like 20 times
I don't have any clothing that I connect memories to, but that's not a bad thing for me. I've had to get rid of everything and start new every year ish, but it's still nice seeing other people enjoy memorable ties to material items. It makes me see that sometimes the smallest things make the difference.
The heather sweater !
If middle school Conan could see 24 year old Conan he would maybe have a heart attack
learning about other peoples memories and every little thing about a human makes me so happy. i really loved this video. this makes me feel nostalgic.
I read it as *Moist* *Worm*
yum !
Omg you replied! Conan why are you so cool? I'd say you're a bit too cool for school...
Poop Poo lov the MONCH
i read it as that too and then i tried again and read it as 'worst' lmao i think we're all a lil out of it
@Ariadne lol
it's so cute how everyone is thinking about these nice lil memories their clothes have brought them, aw
Ive wanted to thrift but idk how and i feel like i wont find anything good 😂
K Becht sAME
YA GOTTA REALLY DIG (g'luck!)
K Becht go to thrift stores in rich neighborhoods!! rich people throw away the b E s t things
you have to look everywhere!! last weekend i went to goodwill and went through every rack of jeans so i can find the ultimate pair of mom jeans and i did!!!
I always find inspiration from urban outfitters or something then when I go to thrift stores I have an idea of what to look for. Also you literally have to look through everything! And if you don't find anything, go back the next week!
