The story of Naan movie was ready by the Cinematographer Jeeva while he work on the Anandha Thaandavam (AT) movie. Anadha Thandavam was released in 2009. He next planned to collaborate with the same hero, but due to some reasons it was dropped (may be failure of AT movie). Later Vijay Antony convinced Jeeva to rewrite the script by considering him as a hero for the same story. That's why both the EMV and Naan were released in Aug 2012. Although the Naan movie script was ok, the songs were the biggest strength of the movie. VA rocked once again as a music director, but this movie gave him a heroic face on the silver screen.
