The spectacular "Kumay Chimney Stacks" SRV time trial

- This SRV time trial was designed for use with the legacy 3.8 version of Elite Dangerous Horizons and takes place on Kumay in the Chi Herculis system.
To run this time trial you will need to install the EDCoPilot virtual cockpit assistant (created by Razzafrag) which you can download from here: www.razzafrag....
The other two time trials mentioned in the video (The Kumay Snake and The Kumay Launch Pad) are currently in development at the time of writing and will be available in EDCoPilot in the coming weeks.

Thanks ... and you're right. Elite Dangerous is an incredible game with a thousand different things to do, very much NOT a mile wide, inch deep. But it's also a sandbox and the community has enhanced it a hundredfold and added a whole other level in terms of the tools, guides, tutorials and social activities it's built around the game.
Horizons landscapes with atmosphere would be amazing. In another life.
Add Odyssey surface texture detail and scatter rocks and bingo - perfection. Oh well.

Have you found any suitable candidates in Elite: Odyssey for racing?
I've found some potentials, but its night and day in the differences between the versions. I've gotten to the point I don't know what I like better. Both offer something the other doesn't have, and the fact they are different.

That's a fantastic question. For circuit racing and short/medium distance cross country racing Odyssey is absolutey fine and you can see a nice example on my channel if you look for the Cayley Barracks Snow'n'City Tour video (I'll try to link it in a separate comment but I have a feeling youtube removes comments that contain URLs). But for long distance stuff like this it generally doesn't really have the infintely variable large scale canyon complexes like this. Actually, that said, also look for my Mordor Ice Rally videos.
