Yes, I realised that controlling behaviour isn't just the textbook stuff we hear about all the time. Being controlling is also trying to fix everything all the time, holding on to tightly, doing the most for someone so that they don't leave you, talking them into staying, making them so "comfortable" that they'll stay with you, having moods and emotional outbursts because they aren't doing or saying things you thunk they should be, expecting them to make you happy, watching everyrhing they're doing with their phone, trying to keep them from their friends, emotional manipulation like crying and not speaking to them because they didn't KNOW what you want or need. OK, where do I start? I watched the Family Stone tonight which you mentioned. I think I’m gonna be crying for a while. My dad died on 18 November. I was 19.
