How many people know that Cotopaxi is the name of a beautiful perfectly symmetrical snow covered volcano in Ecuador? Hence, the llama/alpaca as it's symbol, although I think it would make more sense to have used the mountain. I really like this bag. Thank you for reviewing it. Had I seen it earlier I might have ordered it. But I ended up purchasing the new eBags Mother Load DLX Travel pack. It's probably a step down in quality but I liked the dimensions and it has similar features including a padded hip belt and for a 1/4th of the cost it can't be beat! So I'm excited to see how that one works out . . .
I’m 5’1. Think I might go with the 35L. I’m going to Italy for 2 weeks in may, not sure if I’ll be able to fit everything in it and one bag it for 2 weeks! I’ve never done one bag before but i might try!
@@ivybridges Good to know! I, like @Hannah-cy6wx, am only 5'1" and am getting ready for a 2-week trip to Italy. We do plan on a couple of Air BnB stays to do laundry specifically so we can pack super light. 😃
Awesome review!! Concise, informative, and personable. Thank you very much for trying on the bag and stating your relative torso length. As a 5’4” individual, that was really helpful in deciding whether I should purchase it or not. Super excited to see more travel tips/gear content.
1:44 It's a llama - they have longer ears than alpacas. Alpacas are also more "fluffy": they tend to have a thick, wooly coat of fur which makes them look a bit like sheep. Llama fur is more "shaggy".
I have the 35L in all black. The Allpa backpacks are very comfortable. The only addition I would like to have seen is luggage handle sleeve (trolly sleeve) on the back of the backpack. Otherwise, is a great pack.
You’re going to love it! Sorry I don’t know the dimensions, but one of the cubes is a medium to large size and the other is a more standard medium cube.
My only complaint is the water bottle holder is too small
Agreed! It is a bit small and not very flexible. But I usually just put mine in my daypack.
An honest review-well done! It is nice to see a detailed review from an actual user extolling the features. Wishing you many more safe travels.
I’m also 5’5” so I’m so glad I got to see what it looks like on!! Thanks!
I'm glad I could help! Thanks for watching!

I think the 35L would be perfect for two weeks! Typically I use the 42 for month long trips. Hope you have a great time in Italy!

Glad the video was helpful for you!
so did you get the 42 or 35?
Love this Cotopaxi travel backpack - 42 Liters. It is very important to buy quality like no matter what...

Can you tell me what the straps on the rain cover are for?
Any chance you flew with KLM with this bag and carried on? If so, did you encounter any trouble?
Sorry I haven't flown with KLM, but I doubt you'll have issues with the larger airlines.
Thank's for this review 😊
Thanks for sharing I am definitely in the market for a great travel backpack 🎒🎉🧡💐
Hope you find the perfect one for you! :)
@@ivybridges I'm definitely getting this one in bright colors 😁
Awesome review, thank you so much for all this well-rounded information!
I’ve got the 35 and 28 liters. Haven’t had a chance to use either unfortunately
I feel like the 28 would be great for weekend trips. Hope you get to use them soon!
@@ivybridgesI used the 28L for 1wk in Maldives. It has been perfect for me by far!
Altho' i am seriousl considering the 42L for longer 3-4wks travel
This review is so helpful! Thank you! 😊

That would be a great addition!
Good review. Quite a heavy bag though!
This is one of the best reviews I’ve seen - thank you!

They're the best!
I just ordered this bag! Do you know the dimensions of the packing cubes you used?
You’re going to love it! Sorry I don’t know the dimensions, but one of the cubes is a medium to large size and the other is a more standard medium cube.
Just curious did you happen to go on qatar airways with this bag?
Sorry I did not fly with Qatar!
Super useful, cheers

You do know that they do laundry in Italy
