Thank you. Lisa is one of my favourite violinists. Hearing her talking about her music is very enjoyable. For example about Brahms: "He is kind of vulnerable without beeing sentimental".

Enchanted by Lisa Batiashvili and by this fine interview. Ms Batiashvili is exactly as she seems. I saw and heard her at a Tsinandali Festival and was more than impressed by her genuine friendliness, kindness and generosity. Nothing of “the great violinist” about her. Thank you for sharing this interview with us.

Talking about her teacher is the reason why I love the process of learning an instrument. I didn't feel this all the time when I was singing. But I am feeling this instinct learning the cello. Great interview. Such a reassuring perspective!

Thank you for this enlightening interview. Ms Batiashvili is such a mesmeric talker, there is a great deal of truth and logic in what she says surrounding her performing and recording career.
I really enjoy your interviews from this series. Thank you.

Why her foreahaed doesn‘t move anymore?! WHY? Please! She is such a beautiful HUMAN being! If you stop moving your face with some paralyzing stuff you forbid yourself to show who you are, how you are thinking about something, how you feel… Imagine you would forbid your child to show it‘s inner life on it‘s face! It’s cruel! It‘s the same you do to yourself. I HATE that! Please Lisa Batiashvili! Stop it! STOP IT!
And for everybody: look at her Face in her Interviews in the past. How sad now. She is beautiful because of her LIVING FACE, NOT the younger age.
    How sad.

Great violinist, saw her in NL…
But classical music is DEAD anyways. Good luck!
