I'm a Mori fan but I'm pretty sure I'm spitting facts here. All of these singers were just there to sing with nothing in their minds but to impress their audience, they have no connection to the song whatsoever and some of them had too much autotune😵💫. With Mori it's just different, she's there to sing obviously but more importantly she's there to tell a story, and most importantly you can clearly see how connected she is to the song. Which is what singing is really about.
Out Of Topic: What i hate about today's singers specially those main streams is they are no longer singers, they're entertainers. Long as you have a good MV or a well choreographed dance moves then you'll go viral even though their vocals are mediocre asf.🤦

Exactly what you said my friend. Singer not always needed to reach high notes but the exact balance of your voice through the songs. Some singers are using their ability to reach high notes even not really needed to do or not in the exact time to use it. I've seen that both of those performances. If I had to compare the two, it would be Morissette for me, but in my opinion, Loren's best performance of that song was when she was in a white dress with David Foster about 3 years ago. Pure perfection.

This comparison just confirms me in my opinion that Morissette is the best vocalist I have ever listened to. She is really miles ahead of the others. All of them can just queue up in whatever position they want, maybe except for that Gabriel guy. Sorry, but I cannot understand what he is singing. Does he speak English (no offense, real interest)?. And I don't feel enything when he starts screaming. It sounds just shrill and unpleasant. Maybe not his best performance (I am not familiar with that guy)? And his whistle try does not fit the song. So I would put him last.
Enrique's pronunciation is not good and his always trying to squeeze his voice to make it sounds thin. His kinda always using a headtone/falsetto. Some are like impressed but me.? I don't think so. His annoying FR

Katrina Velarde did a version which is up there as well. Not as refined as Morissette's but that girl can belt. Sohyang is a powerhouse, and could easily belt out For Me so for her to use For Mey more than is necessary seemed a poor musical choice, that one was a missed opportunity.
