I have had my 3200 for a year and it prints fine. Color prints and photos dont fade. I use Canon ink which is cheap. Using Ebay ink may not work as well. Canon Rocks!
anyone thinking of buying this may consider the fact that print FROM G3000 on photo paper fades away but on normal paper it lasts. I would suggest equivalent model from HP which I have tested and the prints don't fade. Once I made an desktop calendar with this printer and fast forward 3 months, All the pages have lost their colour.
That is surprising. Pixma series printers were originally manufactured to provide best in class photo/color prints. I used a Pixma MP190 for nearly 4 years but never had any such issue even after converting the ink cartridge system to an ink drum.
Bakwas printer. Colour fades away in few days in glossy paper. And after just warranty expired printer head got damaged . Unprinted lines in photo copy and Xerox. Service charges very high and print head price also. Total 7910number of pages printed . Original ink still not finished.

How well does this unit work with MacOs and iOS? Do both need to have Canon software or is there another way of printing? Thank you.
